which diecast did the wheels come off of? I have a 1:1 2011 camaro with boss 338s that look similar and im trying to track them down.

I decided to go a different direction with this build..... I grabbed up a set of AMT 2011 promos, and hacked a few things up. heres where im at now: full detail convertible!

Here Is my second Revell 2010 Camaro SS project. "Fast Lane" is what the license plate will read. The color is Dupli-color Touch up Rattle can, Toyota Red. Kit white stripes. I didnt like the kit tires, so I ordered some scale 315/30/20s and I added a barrel/lip to the rear wheels to make them more aggressive. I am currently working on creating a scale Roto-Fab cold air intake with airbox. Not yet sure if I want to add a supercharger or not, but ill figure it out soon. kit junk tires next to the aftermarket 315/30/20

any chance you would trade/sell the optional side skirts, rear valance and front splitter?? I really need them for another project, but have used both sets from the kits I have.

Will do! I plan to cast the Sinister hood, and the hood with the vette ZR1 window to replicate the new baldwin motion cars. I found some pegasus wheels with a close Diameter and cut them down and re-shaped them a bit

Just got my Revell 2010 Camaro SS kits in. I must say, this is a WICKED kit!!! I am going to be building this one Like another 1:1 that I see around town. I have already started on the "sinister" aftermarket hood, which I will probly cast and offer in the near future. I am waiting on someone to make orange stripes so that I can replicate MY 1:1. I am using wheels from a maisto die-cast, they seem to be a bit more accurate. I will be finishing this one in GM Summit white, with black stripes, and various details. I spent half my time working out of town, so I will be slow on updating.

I scored a few kits in the next city over, on a quick trip there yesterday: ( everything except the Novas, and grumpy book, which came in the mail)

my local micheals has lots of newer stuff, including bagged snap kits ( 77 monte carlo, 32 ford) for 2.00!!

If I knew who made it < I would definatly share, I am still trying to find out as I would like a couple more. The quality of this resin, is like that of modelhaus, it is darn near perfect.If I do find out, I will let everyone know. Thanks for the kind words so far.

Thanks for the replies guys! Jim the body is about 1/8th inch shorter than stock so I'm guessing mabey 6 or so scale inches. Kasey- I think I will be using these wheels. They give it a mean, aggressive look and just seem to flow . I should hopefully have more work to show tomorow

I scored this 2 door resin body off ebay a while back, Im really not sure who casts it, but it is great! its like working with plastic. I will be using parts box 96 impala SS fixins for it, including Chromes Engine Goodies that I had done a while back. I am still not 100% sure on rolling stock, but so far I am Liking the 2010 Camaro wheels.

I have already put down $$ on a case of these at the local hobby shop!!! I cannot wait.
