  1. billet pumps and dumps, with Fineline Engineering photo-etch backing plates ( long out of production)
  2. I will update this topic as I progress, I work away from home for a week at a time, then home , then away every other week. All of the suspension, exhaust, etc. has been sent out for chrome, as well as other small detail stuff.
  3. I know that Lots of People on this forum have a bad attitude about Lowriders, so Ill start off by saying that this is a lowrider build. That being said, I have started with a StreetBurners Monte Carlo SS, and a Jevries Resin LS conversion kit, consisting of bumpers front and back, grille, headlight buckets and lenses, and rear tail lights. I have started by properly fitting and securing the bumpers, and cutting out the trunk, removing the spoiler and jambing it all up. Still working on the Jamb, gotta mold it a bit more, and make it flow, but im working off lots of reference pics. reworkin the interior, LS style Im almost done spending time on the trunk jamb. A bit more filling and sanding is needed to be where I want. Im happy with it overall quick mock up to see how it looks. the cnc machined valve covers are not a right fit for this motor
  4. not sure why everyone has such a bad attitude towards lowriders. Kool build none-the less! good job
  5. If you Look closely you will see that the one on the left is a Quad Cab. It was built bu David@minidreams on this board. and I aquired it through another member. I think he may have even done a how-to for it.
  6. I just ordered a couple detail-up sets from KA models out of south korea.... just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them? or any photos of built up models using them? any help is much appretiated. thanks mike
  7. I have had this wagon kicking around for a while. Scored in on ebay a few years back, and have been itchin to get into it. It is a complete, and un-assembled kit, the original owner stuck the bumpers and tail lights on, but never glued them. It still has the original decal sheet, and instructions with it. I am thinking something like HOK strato blue pearl, with a snow white top. and mabey a 2 tone blue interior. For wheels I have chose Chevy Rally wheels from the first issue of the new 69 nova, as they appear to be the most correct. I am undecided on what to do engine wise. I am thinking of either robbing a 6cyl from a trumpeter kit, or replicating a "Heidts bolt in subframe" with control arms etc, and using the 350 from the 69 nova kit. If I do decide to build the subframe, I would also like to replicate some fenderwell headers etc. I will be slow at updating as I work away from home week in week out. but I will make sure to keep it updated.

  18. just scored on on ebay for 81.00 complete unbuilt with box! lookin forward to cutting it up!
  19. not sure why everyone still thinks these are rare kits..... if I alone have 16...... they cant be to hard to get. I paid 50- or a bit more for my first 2, then the rest were all 25.00 scores... mostly still sealed. they also ran a re-release in 2000 consisting of a couple thousand ambulance kits..... the only true "RARE" hearse kit, is the black molded, there were 50 made, and were a promo run, issued in the plain brown cardboard box, with a printed black and white photo of the hearse taped to it ( as seen above in my photo)
