  1. As for my build still going, just got a lot Of my tools out of storage earlier this month. My ideal for this car is like Bentley or BWW M8 gte taking a luxury coupe and going road racing with it, mid 70's imsa style. Going to try to do a roll cage this week end then pull the chassis part and start painting it. Everything is pinned together right now. Still have some body to do, but it's got a good start. More pictures to come.
  2. Beautiful car, nicely done! That engine work look real especially the carb.
  3. Nice color choice looking forward to seeing more. Great concept and build
  4. Just putting up a quick update I'm switching out my chassis for a nascar one this Thing just dropped right in after a little trimming to the rear wheel wells. I'm using the wheels from amt 68 corvette custom kit. There about the similar size to the nascar slicks. No idea on the engine yet.
  5. Alot of great ideas and builds already this year, I haven't made a lot of progress with mine yet mire planning than anything. I have removed bumper from grille an headlight and flush mounted the bumper. Removed the center grill and installed a mesh. I getting a Bentley vibe from this car
  6. I would like to enter this year's cannonball it'll be my tenth anniversary since I finished one. Don't have much of model car stash so I'm going with this 1973 mercury cougar (the cat)
  7. I used to live in northwest Ontario but recently moved to Kamloops, it's so nice to have a have a local hobby shop instead of driving 4hrs to visit one.
  8. Wow the details are just stunning! Great job!
  9. Great build, love the painted wheels reminds me of a Bentley i saw at the 2020 Toronto autoshow
  10. Nigel, I love the concept and execution of this car looks like a real sleeper great work!
  11. Awesome job, Pat the stance, weathering and the air breather nice!
  12. Looking forward to 2024 and starting at the beginning of the year for the builds, anyway I like the Hot Wheels idea I'll admit for personal reasons. (Maybe I'll get to finish 2023s build as I was copying a hot wheels and I'm less than 50% done) I'd like to throw out an idea Full size cars-- for example luxury from any era, wagons, larger 4 doors and even large suvs. Maybe 70s midsize cars they seem big too me. Things you would not normally think fast. I think there maybe enough kits available out there for this?
  13. Congratulations to all those who have finished their builds and to all those just about finished theirs. There are a lot great builds here going to be tough to vote for just one. Also thank you to Enzo (White Rabbit) for moderating this year's cannonball run and keeping builders engaged and updated great job. Unfortunately I will not be finishing this year build haven't made any progress since my last update hoping next year will hold more promise.
  14. These Renwal revival have to be may holy grail cars, would love to get one someday, great job on it. Would like too see more pictures of the engine
  15. Great work guys! I'm just posting an update picture. Just a mockup of the car so far. This is the ride height the build will sit at. Will have finishing work to do to the body. I know that front splitter will need to have a bit removed (Too low). So I'm pushing to have it do have it done in time, but still in it.
