  1. HI guys, I'm changing my build for this year, still going to build a rally car. This is the Nitto 1/24 Lancia Stratos, it's the same kit as the italeri. The kit is a curbside and was supposed to be motorized the body is a 2 piece, just taped together for now. I will add an engine, running gear and suspension. I'm think of using a 1uz tbi Lexus engine from clearly scale
  2. Very cool build nice to see the 3D printed parts on this. Nice choice of engine, amazing detail it was a pleasure to follow this build.
  3. Very cool and different build I like it.
  4. Great detail work Bruce, beautiful truck.
  5. Great work guys, nice to see some of the builds moving forward. My build has stalled out as I'm just not happy with the wheels and tires stance. I'm thinking of changing my kit yet staying with the same idea.
  6. Very nice custom James great work
  7. Great work again Darren, just love following your work. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
  8. Lysleder I totally agree with you, going to be a ton of work. The kit really has my interest and I tend to give up once my interest falls off a little. But like you said the deadline is far away so I have time for details. Bruce that chassis for the truck looks amazing just love all the details so far, I'm sure I will be stealing some of those ideas.
  9. Amazing work, all the mods seem so flawless everything flows together really well.
  10. Great vette nice colour combo, black on red is classic. Those wheels are look really sharp.
  11. This is my favourite type of build, great job. I'm glad to see all the Ferrari trim and agree with you on the interior looks correct nice work.
  12. So I think for this for this years entry i will use my Bmw M1 procar I know it's pretty far from anything that should be off road . But I'm planning on building it like the class b rally cars of the early 80's. I will have to make an AWD system for it switch it to right hand drive, roo bars , and larger fuel tank. For the suspension I am going to copy the set up used by the Ford rs200 or the Lancia 037. Anyway this is the kit I'm starting with and where I hope to get
  13. Awesome project, that stance looks right on to me. Fantastic work with getting that interior to fit like that. I very looking forward to following this to the under glass section.
  14. Very sharp build, super clean. Man I want that kit, great work very inspiring.
  15. Some very unique builds all ready entered, I think I finally figured out something that I want to build I will go hunting through the parts tonight. Some very cool paint jobs Ray (helix) and Bruce (belugawrx) they have given me a few ideas.
  16. Very nice finish on that vette, so smooth.
  17. Great job Bruce, I'm glad you lowered it, the stance looks perfect to me.
  18. In a year with this many great builds it's almost fitting that it ended in a tie. Congratulations to both Jonathan and Dale, way to go gentleman!
  19. Could a rally car like the wrc cars handle this terrain? I would like to kit bash an older car with that style suspension and running gear but I'm finding it tough to get good info on the course.
  20. Thanks for the comments, everyone! It was my pleasure to take part, I'll be back for the next one. funny thing, I thought about it, but I really want to try some sort of rally car kitbash.
  21. I think the brass looks good with the colour on the car, this is just a fantastic build Richard. Thanks for posting this.
  22. Thanks everyone for the comments, Terry you should get one of these kits. It was the re release of amt crew chief, the only problem was a wrap to the windshield. But that my have just been in my kit.
  23. Thanks Len. David this is the spice red red package on the c7 corvette. It reminds me of the 40th anniversary vetted.
  24. Well, it looks like the Enzo bad luck was the ford's good fortune. This looks like an exciting build, hope you keep finding inspiration, I'll be following.
