  1. Hey all, Thanks for the info. Another project for down the road
  2. Hey all, My brother-in-law gave me this. He says he built it when he was a kid and he's in his mid '50s, The only markings I could find was Revell stamped on the bottom. A '53 Panel van? Anyone have an idea what kit this is? AND...does anyone have any idea what doner kit I could use to convert it back to stock configuration? Considering its age, can it even be converted? Cheers, Ian
  3. Here is mine Up the Irons!
  4. Hey all, Here is few pics of some of my other addictions My small N scale layout My HO and O scale setup Revellogram 1/48th F-102 Another F-102 A 1/48th Revellogram Marine F-4 Navy F-4 A Hasegawa 1/32nd scale A-4 Scooter Anyway, I hope you like them...... Cheers, Ian
  5. Nice job! Built a few of those old Revellogram F-4s. Beautiful rendition of the Phantom, but lots of fit issues
  6. Lee, SWEET! I love it. I built the old AMT kit and painted it white. My oldest son has it now. I'm not a hardcore Trekkie, but I like to dabble in it once in a while I enjoy watching all the TV series nad most of the movies Years ago, I built the Enterprise "D" from the alternate universe in the final Next Gen episode. I found a resin conversion kit with the third engine. It was pretty cool when it was done. I painted all the windows by hand, took me forever My oldest boy has all my old built Star Trek stuff. I might build one again some day BTW, I just retired from the Michigan National Guard, 21E, Heavy Equip Operator. I used to be in Co. A, 107th Engineers, but then I transfered to the 1432nd Engineer Support Co after I spent a year in Afghanistan. I've only been retired two months and I miss it already. Cheers, Ian
  7. The old MPC Grand Prix with the ski rack setup is on eBay right now for some ungodly amount of money.. A built '70 GP was selling for $60 0r $70..nuts Bring back the reissues! Cheers, Ian
  8. Quick question, this may sound dumb, but after shooting hairspray, do you clean your airbrush with water, or something else I would assume water, but I want to double check
  9. Dan, Do you happen to make those brake drum sets in 1/24th scale as well? Cheers, Ian
  10. Terry, Great work!
  11. Hey all, I'm sure this ones been beat to death, but I have to ask..whats a good way to weather tires for beaters or junkers? I remember reading an article a while back, and someone mentioned using Dullcote to tone down the shine, but I tried that years ago and the tires just got sticky and nasty and looked like ######, Any tips would be appreciated Cheers, Ian
  12. Rich, Welcome aboard....Nice build so far. Gotta love the box art on those old MPC kits I just visited Latvia back in August for a couple of weeks, that is a very beautiful part of the world you guys live in over there. Oh yeah, by the way, you guys have some awesome castles.. Cheers, Ian
  13. A reissue of the late 60's annual kits, Pontiacs, Chevys, Mopars, stuff like that. Not all Muscle cars either, I'm talking station wagons, four doors, odd ball stuff like that.. I'd also like to see someone reissue all the old Johan kits from the 60's as well. I like those old Chrysler/Desoto led sleds
  14. monte, Yeah, I just saw an old AMT '70 Bonneville kit (without the boat), selling for $80 big ones I love those mid to late '60's Ponchos
  15. Cool, you don't find that very often :)

  16. Swifster, You're absolutely right. It would still be nice to see more Ponchos in scale, though. Question, did Pontiac ever put out a Promo kit from that year? I would like to see more offbeat Pontiacs, like wagons, four doors, etc That would be cool Cheers, Ian
