  1. Hey all, Anyone tell me about R&R Vacuum craft resin kits? There is a whole bunch of Pontiac resin kits for sale on eBay right now, wagons, ragtops, hardtops, late 50's early '60s era.. Any of these worth picking up? They sure do look good Cheers, Ian
  2. Ian, Very interesting...now maybe some Pontiac stuff.....?
  3. Yeah, generic ain't the word I'll try Modelhaus to see what I can pick up for the '66.
  4. Hey all, Need some help and opinions... I bought this kit about 20 years ago. Built it, then somehow superhornet1015 ended up with it, haven't seen it for years. then he digs out an old AMT Prestige Series '65 Pontiac Grand Prix of his, and lo and behold, there is my built Bonny. So, I get it home take it apart, and discover just how plain and simplified this kit is. It's a curbside kit, the chassis and the interior don't even look right. Decal for the instruments, etc. The tires aren't too bad, but the rims are nothing like I've ever seen on any Pontiac I know of, So, I would like to update this car with some better, more accurate parts. Can anyone recommend a doner kit for this car? I've been eyeing up the AMT 1962 Pontiac Catalina possibly for a chassis and maybe an engine.. I was experimenting last night with parts from a Monogram '69 GTO (chassis and drivetrain) that I'm also rebuilding to see how it might look. What do you think? I don't think the Rallye II rims were available in '66, so I doubt that would be accurate. Looks good though Any recommendations You guys got my creative juices flowing Cheers, Ian
  5. That is SO COOL!!! Where did you get the trailer?
  6. How about conversions to make base model cars, i.e. GTO to LeMans or Custom S models? More replacement parts to restore old model cars. I know Modelhaus makes a buch of stuff, but like me, I'm sure everyone has that one model that you can't find a part for... Know what I mean.... Cheers, Ian

  22. Hey all, I was out and about in my travels for work Monday, and look what I ran across in a customers yard. These came off of my phone A late 50's Ford..Fairlane, maybe? 1960 Cadillac And he was nice enough to let me look in his garage as we share an interest in old cars Unfortunately, all I had was my camera phone, and it was dark in there.. A 1950 Ford, chopped, and a 1969 Road Runner. The Road Runner had a 4 speed tranny with a pistol grip shifter, and it said "440" on the hood. Oh yeah BABY!! I drooled the whole time I was in there... Anyway, I thought I'd share Cheers, Ian
