  10. Works for me! I'll need at least two sets of the old school finned brake drums, front and rear. I'll need one set very soon, and the other I'll have to contact you
  11. Oh Yeah, plan on it It was actually a gluebomb. I had to do a lot of grinding and reworking Perfect candidate for a farmer's field
  12. Adam, I don't think he kitbashed the van, he was a casual modeler. A furure project Hey all, Here is another future project waiting in the wings MPC 1976 Ventura, needs a motor and wheels/rims And this one, I need help with this one, its a Mercury Cougar, '67 or '68? but it's molded in tan plastic(?) I thought it was MPC, but I'm not sure. Any ideas? It's missing a bunch of parts, I'd like to go factory stock with this one. The emblem on the front fender says "390" on it. Anyone know when I can get replacement parts for it? Yet another restoration project Cheers, Ian
  13. Hey all, This is what happens when a buddy gives me a box of junk cars and parts My first rustbucket after it dries for a while, I'll start experimenting with rusting it up more Cheers, Ian
  14. I build to relax. I'm building outside of my comfort zone right now, I'm repainting a couple of HO train engine shells, and working on my first ever rustbucket/junker car.. It's new ground for me, I've spent most of my modeling life building aircraft so I'm a little skittish about taking chances, but I'll give it a shot Cheers, Ian
  15. Terry, I noticed it too, but its still a beautiful bird! Cat, looks great, I bet you used the same decal sheet I used on mine Cheers Ian
  16. Absolutley amazing!!! I've always wanted to do a battle damaged starship
  17. John, Funny you should mention that, thats why I had to sell my 1969 Catalina Convertible back in '90.. My oldest boy was only three at the time, and my ex was pregnant with my daughter.. We ended up with a mini-van.... Man, I wish I had that car back... Cheers, Ian
  18. Jeff, Love it!!!! Which kit are you using? What type of rims? Rally IIs or steel w/dogdish hubcaps? Looking forward to seeing the finished product Cheers, Ian
  19. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but it will definately get a resto job at some point.

  23. Harold, You kmow, I never thought of that..acrylic or enamel?
  24. Yeah, now that I really look at it, I probably built a few when I was kid as well Underneath, the plastic is red, so I'm guessing '60's version(?) Cheers, Ian
  25. Bob, I used Dullcote on some old Revellogram NASCAR tires years ago, and it made the tires sticky. I think I'll try acrylic like you suggested. Thanks Cheers, Ian
