  2. I like the '73 GTO idea. I've only seen one in my life, and it was owned by a USAF Chief Master Sargeant when I was stationed in England back in the '80s, of all places. The blokes used to call it a "Yank Tank" I like it. I will buy one eventually Cheers, Ian
  3. I agree with mirage, you should definately use the snowflake wheels. It would be awesome! And I also agree you should have it cast in resin. It would probably sell well. What kit are you using for a doner chassis? Good to know if it gets cast in resin. What paint scheme are you thinking about? Black and gold or white and blue? Nice work
  4. Uh, Blake, when were you in Aghanistan? My unit turned over control of the PRT in Kandahar City in late 2005, to a unit of Canadian army troops from Alberta. I don't remember which one though..
  5. Sam, Yeah I saw that one too. Don't know what it went for though. The '57 De Soto that went for 170K was real cool. I love those older, big finned Mopars. I like the JFK ambulance just because its a Pontiac Is it me, or is B-J obsessed with Corvettes? Cheers, Ian
  6. Just retired with 24 years of Federal service. 8 Active USAF, 15 with the Army Guard and two deployments. Vietnam vets got a raw deal. Its nice to see that the attitide toward them has, and still is changing. I salute all Active, Guard, and retired military everywhere Cheers, Ian

  9. OK, Bill, I'll bite...why did they do it? Also, I was told many moons ago that Christine was a 1958 Plymouth Fury,..... however, it looks identical to the AMT '58 Belvedere I have Same car? Cheers, Ian
  10. Now thats an idea I actually never thought of that. I'll have to keep that in mind Cheers, Ian
  11. Hey all, Just wondering where I could locate a resin '58 or '59 Edsel convertible body? I've checked the ususal resin casters websites(that I know of) and eBay, but all I've found is complete, expensive, kits. I have an AMT '58 Edsel Pacer for a doner kit, so thats not an issue. It seems that no one sells just the bodies... Any suggestions? Cheers, Ian
