  1. I've do it with a couple of models. A 66 Satellite 4 door hemi, a 69 Coronet 4 door Police car, and a 66 Fairlane 4 door wagon. Both the Mopars had to have the C-piller re-angled to replicate the factory but they turned out OK. Tim
  2. I am wondering if anyone knows a way to make windshields and rear windows look and fit more realistic? The kit way isn't too realistic there has to be a better way. Anyone?? Thanks Tim

  4. I am needing a set of Mickey Thompson Indy profile S/S tires in 1/24-1/25 for a project I am doing. Does anyone know of a source for either a tire decal or the complete tires themselves. I will need a full set of 4. Thanks Tim

  8. In the car I am recreating the dash and console has turned metal or prism effect on it. I am looking to find some to help in this recreation. either a decal or way to do it. Thanks Tim
  9. I have mostly used an old ( like early 1980s) Paasche H model, single action external mix and a Testors Double action internal mix. I actually prefer the Paasche and use it the most. An old friend of mine uses a professional Touch up gun for his models. I used the old spare tire adapter for the longest time until I purchased a Badger compressor. I actually have had great results with spray bombs. You just need to learn the best way to spray them. Tim
  10. Depends on the 1:1 scale your are following some could be wider some narrower. But good rule of thumb is ..20 half round. and the .20 x .10 for the seams. Tim

  12. Oh, maybe I'll build a 2005 Camaro, Oh wait they weren't built that year. not continuously built for 50 years like the Corvette. but hey a CBP is cool. Maybe once I finish my Heartland contest builds I will break out one of my Camaro projects. I have an old photo of a neighbors 73 Camaro I always wanted to recreate. Tim

  20. I prefer the model master #11 blades. sometimes hard to find. I may look in to scalpel blades. Tim
  21. With the Aussieball coming to an end shortly. It is time to start thinking about 2017. ( yeah, it is almost here) So let's start throwing ideas around for the theme for 2017 Cannonball. Do we want to go back to the original Cannonball Run, anything goes, no holds bared. Do we want to have a year limitation or a certain country ( Like the Aussieball) or ????? Let's here it. Tim
  22. I am wanting to strain some paint. it will be from a small bottle to the air brush bottle. Anyone know the best way. I am trying to paint a hood and it keeps getting contaminates in the finish. I am using an old ( circa 1980s) Paasche H model. Thanks for the help Tim
