    Almost bought that kit to today, but wound up with the Chevelle kit instead

    Today was a good day, Got some work done for the Lord in his Community Garden that i head, So celebrated a bit with some new plastic! The Escalade was $19 bucks and some change from Michaels since i found a 40% coupon... Now to find 2 99 Silverado kits to start my REDEMPTION on my 04 dually i was building till i moved and sadly lost all those parts, 2nd is another Redemption of a 70 chevelle i got at hobby lobby for the same price as the escalade with theyre 40% from when i bought this chevelle kit for $5 bucks at a flea market and started to paint stripes on it but cut through the tape into the paint not knowing anything since i was a teenager... Sad that kit is long gone with a bunch of others in between all the moves i made.... And i know The Snake is mad at me since they have the Barris 65 riv kit that i DIDN'T bring home SORRY!!!

    That 70 Chev truck is cool, Where do you guys find kits like that without giving an arm and a leg for em'?

    Im trying to find inspiration to build my 84 desserter kit and you said you used the chevy van's suspension... How much cutting/grafting did you have to do or is it what i think it is? the actual suspension from the original 2wd truck? and did the suspension come from amts nypd police van kit or is that the same as the one you used???

    Speaking of the amt coca cola issue, Is there any BAJA aftermarket parts or anything for it anywhere? even maybe a Porshe engine to adapt to the rear transaxle? I have an idea ive been meaning to scratch but cant find any aftermarket support or anything on this kit

    Went to Hobby Lobby (Which is ALWAYS DANGEROUS) today and to my surprise they had a tractor kit on the shelf.... NOT NO MORE!

    AHHH Yes! I remember that store, I know i bought several kits off him at great prices. the site was modelexpressdotnet i do believe. And ill have to see if i can find a couple kits i bought off him are still around?

    I wound up taking this list a bit further (Being i didnt know this list existed) and went into detail of all the extra stuff we need to know like suspensions and cab difference's etc...

    Looking good, Not sure but if you want to get it color matched take the cab to a paint supply store for automotive paints and they have a machine they can then try to determine "Exact/Close enough for Gov't work" color(s) to look for? I wonder what i did with my Cornbinder project? I was doing some custom stuff to it then disappeared b/w moves???

    Look forward to seeing what you do with yours, I have that kit somewhere that i built when i was a teenager and later disesembled and waiting to hit the strip tank (Never painted mine, just painted all the silver and red stuff, as well as use the old decals) Look forward to seeing yours, as well as hoping revell reissues this kit for id love to get my hands on one being this was another childhood kit id love to have again
