I've use a lot of proweld but after trying tamiya extra thin I like it better gives a tiny bit more working time.just right.
I don't know how it can be any weaker than other solvent glues since it makes a weld bead if you squeeze the parts together.

it works fine on curves and cylinders just as any masking material or tape does, just not too well on compound curves like a sphere.
it's also easily stretched out of shape so it is meant to be scored in place.

John type "dodge demon decal" into google images... several sizes come up
good image find Evil .... It has enough resolution I can shrink it down pretty small without going blurry.
.if your scanning a decal sheet to size photoshop is ok

I would highly recommend a vector based drawing program. so you can size the images to the model without them going blurry/jagged.
Photoshop aint all that..it's raster.plus they all have the same learning curve anyway
all the decal guys(,kieth marks, mike's, myself and many others that draw a lot) use corel or illustrator (inkscape is open source--free)
photoshop doesn't cut it for that type of images...different beast.

According to Testors,it called "one coat" because it's designed to not need a primer or clear coat ... not because it's supposed to go actually on in one pass
I use photobucket , unlimited full usage for life.

If at Hobby Lobby , check the clearence section first ,, they had a bunch of the beading wire marked way down last time I checked.

I used the duplicolor orange high heat engine enamel before ,, ,, it came out beautiful.
It has ceramic in it, but sprays like a dream ,very glossy.
I did spray duplicolor primer first
