  1. Took a ton of sanding to make that hood fit, found better tires,39 Ford grille, and big headlamps... They seem too low here, I have got to add body character line to hood next. Starting it think about a windshield, Im a little out of my league here as I normally do drag cars. Any help appreciated.
  2. Very nice job, great work
  3. Hmmmmm. Cut down a 40 ford hood, AMT Hemi????? Nail Head Buick ????
  4. If I mail you my motors, will you wire them for me. Mine never look that good.
  5. Opened the grill shell, maybe a Nailhead Buick.....
  6. If you look closely door length, and deck length are both different . But they still build up into nice looking kits.
  7. Way Cool great job!
  8. I figured someone had done this, thanks for the info. I love the W motor in it.
  9. I don't have any, but I have always wanted to build them all! Great builds everyone !!!!!
  10. So I had this poorly built AMT 32 Ford five window that someone chopped and converted to a three window coupe....not well executed, so I thought I'll make it a roadster. So I carefully cut the roof off and then compared it to an original AMT roadster. Interesting....the interior opening is larger and the deck is shorter, now what do I do with this?
  11. Got some things started, just can't seem to finish anything
  12. Very nice Build!

  14. Third
  15. I love this, several years ago , some friends of mine built a AA/ FA and towed it to the track on an open trailer with their 68 Polara wagon with wood grain on the sides. So Cool !
  16. Very Nice, good to see circle track cars once in a while, it's amazing how the NASCAR boon dropped off so quickly.
  17. I like this one Very nice job And thanks for the heads up on problem areas. I wish more builders on line would do this.
  18. I love it Drew , great job as always!
  19. I usually get a paint job from the Testors 1/4 oz bottles, but I do thin the paint, possibly making it more. Recently my daughter painted a Silverado kit she's been working on, using Model Master Hot Pink Pearl over white base, were on our 5th 1/2 bottle of paint and it's finally covered. So it might depend on color and the base color your trying to cover.
  20. Rodder and Super Stock magazine Sept. 1969 photos show 65-67 Hemi scoop, I'm very surprised by the lack of engine photos.
  21. According to Hot Rod Magazine February 1968, they started the season with both a 440 with a 4 speed manual Trans and 4:56 rear gear in SS/E and a Hemi 4speed car in SS/B. The SS/E car ran 11.8s while the Hemi car ran under 11.0s. I ve included pics from that article , when I find more I will post them.
