  1. I figured someone had done this, thanks for the info. I love the W motor in it.
  2. I don't have any, but I have always wanted to build them all! Great builds everyone !!!!!
  3. So I had this poorly built AMT 32 Ford five window that someone chopped and converted to a three window coupe....not well executed, so I thought I'll make it a roadster. So I carefully cut the roof off and then compared it to an original AMT roadster. Interesting....the interior opening is larger and the deck is shorter, now what do I do with this?
  4. Got some things started, just can't seem to finish anything
  5. Very nice Build!
  6. Looks great can't wait to see it decaled
  7. Third
  8. I love this, several years ago , some friends of mine built a AA/ FA and towed it to the track on an open trailer with their 68 Polara wagon with wood grain on the sides. So Cool !
  9. Very Nice, good to see circle track cars once in a while, it's amazing how the NASCAR boon dropped off so quickly.
  10. I like this one Very nice job And thanks for the heads up on problem areas. I wish more builders on line would do this.
  11. I love it Drew , great job as always!
  12. I usually get a paint job from the Testors 1/4 oz bottles, but I do thin the paint, possibly making it more. Recently my daughter painted a Silverado kit she's been working on, using Model Master Hot Pink Pearl over white base, were on our 5th 1/2 bottle of paint and it's finally covered. So it might depend on color and the base color your trying to cover.
  13. Rodder and Super Stock magazine Sept. 1969 photos show 65-67 Hemi scoop, I'm very surprised by the lack of engine photos.
  14. According to Hot Rod Magazine February 1968, they started the season with both a 440 with a 4 speed manual Trans and 4:56 rear gear in SS/E and a Hemi 4speed car in SS/B. The SS/E car ran 11.8s while the Hemi car ran under 11.0s. I ve included pics from that article , when I find more I will post them.
  15. Did you ever think about stretching those rear wheel openings to better fit the big tires?
  16. I recently visited my LHS to pick up a couple new releases, Their pretty good at getting new stuff soon after their released, I was wanting the reissued AMT 36 Ford and the AMT Willys kits. They had them but they were priced at $31.28 each......I couldn't bring myself to pay that. I left empty handed. I really don't want to see them go out of business but they are constantly over MSRP. I went on EBay found both kits for 17.00 combined shipping and got both kits for $41.00. Their paints are expensive but they do have a very large selection, I guess in the future my purchases will be limited to paint. They run a promotion buy 6 kits an you get a discount on the 7th, but doing the math I'm still paying a premium price for kits.
  17. Your still my hero Drew! Glad your still at it.
  18. WOW. Very nice!
  19. Here's my corner of the house, years of searching yard sales, swap meets, flea markets, and yard sales, plus the help of a great wife. Not much happening here lately , Lost my job of 29 years, to work force reduction. I sit at the bench but nothing happens, hope this doesn't last too much longer.
