Thank you guys! Well disaster on the decal! Need to find a new set. The old tamiya decals really are bad. Soo a shelved model until I find new decals. Indy cals do not have them so it’s going to be a adventure finding them. Any help finding new ones would be greatly appreciated.

Brutalform you hit something that all of us want. To have the feeling of being young again. I remember showing my dad, and he smiled and said it was good , when it was probably pretty bad. My mom said she liked it , but now I know she did not know anything about it. When I model , I do get these feelings every once in a while. Feels pretty good. Good job sir! -
Benetton ford b188. Painted with tamiya paints with a urethane clear. Painted all the colors then cleared. Now putting on decals, then reclear. A lot of masking. Not a f1 winner but a very colorful car.

Thank you Rider. Yes you are right , the kit really sucks. Nothing fits. The windshield was the only thing that fit but needed the future dip. Installed the batteries. The shocks are next.

Had a stroke 10 years ago. Needed fine motor skills. So I started building. Did this as a kid but stopped in high school. You know , girls ,real cars, life etc. Since then I have met the nicest people ever. Do it for fun and have fun with the guys. Still learning and having a great time. IPMS guys are cool also ,even if they build armor and aircraft. Just a joke guys! I love aircraft and armor also, I’m just not good at it. All kidding aside it is a very relaxing hobby and fun. Will keep doing it as long as I can. -
Thank you 89AKurt. Doing the batteries next.

The vintage site is awesome! Yes I saw the turbines! Cool. I posted I was doing a model of The number 60 turbine and they want to see the work in progress. Very Very cool. Here is the progress of the build. I was very mad as I had to make the front spindles. No front spindles in the kit box!!! Bummer, so a lot of time was making the spindles. Not perfect but they work. Soo I checked other parts and they are here. Thank you sflam123. The vintage site is awesome.

Thank you absmiami! The site jumps around a bit. But it gives a idea how it’s supposed to look. Did the seat belts. Not the best because the seat is a little funky. But it kind of works
