Well back on the 32. Thank you ModelbuilderMark,Thank you Meatman, Thank you Mr. Metallic. Fitting the brakes. Going to do a standard hot rod 32, flathead, halibrands big drum brakes. Flathead from a 37 ford truck. Cannot remember where the brakes came from. Had a 289, then a boss 429 then settled for the flathead. Might put buckets? And still do not know what color. Have a photo etch grill and pe 32 stuff. Going to open the cowl vent and leave it open. I built a 32 out of box , so this detail and open doors are a new thing for me. Plus cutting the roof. (Chopped top).

Sting Ray bicycle
Brudda replied to cobraman's topic in WIP: All The Rest: Motorcycles, Aviation, Military, Sci-Fi, Figures
That is perfect!!! Really cool! I had a Schwinn sting ray but it was a single speed. Wanted the shifter but could not afford it. I paid $69 dollars for the sting ray single speed. Great memories!!! Great build!!! -
Thank you for the great pics and I have the union kit and the mpc kit. They both look like they need a bunch of work. Yours looks great!

Modeling for fun.....again!

Interesting post. I feel the same as most here. Last year I finished a 1/12 model factory hiro kit and it was tough. It was endless. 10 months . The only thing that kept me going was I really liked the subject but that’s why we build. The details on the kit are the best. Had to try one. I bought several hiro kits but are not going to do them anytime soon. The hiro kit was soo intense that I stopped building for several months. Back to 1/25-24 my first love. More fun . Not going to build the other hiro kits for a long time. Matter of fact I bought a lot of 1/12 and 1/20 tamiya kits from a collection. I believe it was 7, 1/12 kits and 8 1/20 kits and they were a lot cheaper than one hiro kit.Just do what you like and don’t worry, be happy! -

I love it!!! Your right , it’s hard finding these 1/24 f1 cars. I found only one, the Toyota. I agree , if anyone has a source let us know! I’m in.

Zora wanted these to be real. But the head guys said the rain would get in the engine compartment. Also it would be more money. Bean counters won.
