Revell 1/24 Toyota F1 This was a slump buster. Easy build. All out of box. Decals were easy and the paint is sherwin Williams automotive paint. Hope you like.

Well with my very limited experience with air craft this is a mk 5 version. Although the decals are for a mk9 version. I tore the tamiya decals so a aircraft friend of mine gave me a aftermarket set. Not really accurate but for me it was more of a paint experience and decal experience. Tried washes and weathering. It just about killled me to put a wash and weather a good paint job. I'm going to try another one soon. Thank you for the great comments -

Thank you very much. I'm taking it to our Ipms meeting and I think they are going to faint. First time I brought something other than a car. -
Here are the under carriage, front view , rear view, and another motor shot from a different angle pics.

This is a repost. I could not put all the pics in the last time. A 1970 revell hemi cuda kit. Viper front and rear suspension, 6 speed viper trans. Viper seats , viper steering wheel. Scratch built rack and pinion. Pirrelli p zero tires off a f-40 kit. Wheels from a testors 37 ford kit. And a lot of fun to build.

I love great paint jobs. But creativity is a very good thing. I took 2nd place to a rust bucket paint job. But the car really deserved it. The build was beautiful. Wish I had a pic of the car that won. Here is what took 2nd

Thank you guys as I am only a few years into modeling and do not know the value or the rareity of old kits.
