  1. One finished , out of box and One wip.
  2. Great job sir!!!
  3. I had just sanded the seam lines and painted it silver. I saw one side was gone. Looked all over and heard a crunching sound. She was just chewing away. Glad it wasn’t the body!!! LOL
  4. Disaster struck! My new 7 month old puppy ate my exhaust. I have a 1968 camaro amt kit I will steal the exhaust from. Here is the culprit.
  5. The stance is a little easier on this kit. Just sanded the rear leaf down a little and made new spindles for the front. So far it’s a nice kit for small mods. Only thing I’m disappointed in is that I cannot use the carb that I wanted to use. Have to use the kit one for hood clearance issues. If I put a cowl hood on, there would be clearance, but I want to use the stock hood. No front or rear spoiler’s, just the stock body. The kit does supply the front and rear spoilers.
  6. Thank you Carl, here is a pic of the chassis with the suspension
  7. Thank you Calb56
  8. Have been working on the suspension. The chassis and suspension are temporarily in place . The wheels and tires are temporarily mounted. But this is where she will be sitting. Really happy with this kit. So far. The kit axle pins work great for mounting the wheel/ tire on the suspension and make a great cap cover for the wheel.
  9. Thank you Bill
  10. By the way I have been insisting on gm products for some time and it’s comming true. If they come out with the grand sport 1963/65 I’m hoping to do that.
  11. Agora has announced this. We knew about it for awhile but could not talk about it. It was kept a secret for awhile now. Everyone wants to build this. I would love to but have not been issued to. We will see. I have a Lamborghini Muira still going. A 1/8 VW bug convertible, a Mazda cozmo, and the GT 500. Plus a pocher 1/8 testarossa to start. My big scale plate is pretty full. But you never know what happens. Anything is possible.
  12. Thank you, the kit does have the vent windows. I need to put foil on them and I will install the glass and vent windows.
  13. Thank you Spike
  14. Yes sir this is true. that’s totally different area.
  15. Thank you Joe
  16. Cut out a section of the inner wheelhouse for clearance for the front tires.
  17. Working on the right stance.
  18. I gave this to a close friend. A fellow modeler. When I first started the hobby, he helped me all thru the contests and just building in general, He builds aircraft and usually wins . The build was really fun and put me on the map for autos. But it just sat there. And Steve really liked it so I gave it to him. The kit is around $1100.00. I just do this. Some people think I’m nuts, and I probably am, but this is what I do. Here is a pic of that model.
  19. Thank you JerseeJerry55
  20. Thank you Carl
  21. Thank you Adam
  22. My Buddy Mark has a lot of new model factory hiro kits. The wife bought it from him. They are expensive but if you want extreme detail, these are the kits for you. So far I have done 3. 1/12 cobra, 1/12 Ferrari p4 and a 1/24 Ferrari 166. I have a 917/30 and a 935/78 1/12 in progress. And everyone I bought from Mark at a substantial savings. But still expensive. You only live once, especially after this month where I have lost several friends. Here are some pics of the cars.
  23. Put the front end together. Lights, grill and supports. Received another tire/wheel. Thought I was just about finished but there is a lot more stuff it needs. This kit is more complex than most 1/8 assemble kits. You have to model this one. There are things that do not fit. You have to modify/ model this kit. It’s more work. The just assemble crowd is going to cry. Maybe that’s why you do not see many finished. But when you do model it, it is a fantastic build of a Muira. The shape alone is to die for. Here it is so far.
