Ok Perry, it’s going Nocchiola. This just hit me like a rock. Looks great, not the usual colors of a Ferrari, and I have never painted a model car this color , so it wins all around for me. Thank you for the picture. Maybe this weekend it will be painted.

I might have something that I can tone into that color.

Fitted the glass. A little work with a hiro kit. I made a template for the side windows. Fit the template first then traced it onto the clear plastic. They fit good. You will want to do this before paint. A lot of handling .

Yeah I am leaning toward a burgundy/ Maroon. I have some in stock that might look pretty good. Was saving it for my 246 Dino.

The body is just so sexy. For a mfh kit it’s pretty easy so far. Should not have said that…..it’s a mfh kit and has suprises. Color is going to be the tough decision on this one.

Primed. Now I have to decide what color. Going to build the wheels next. I did scribe the body.

The grill opening has been fixed. Most people would have left it but I could not. Going to polish the grill surround next week. In my polisher. Going to fit headlamps, bumpers and cut out the glass to see how that fits. Need to do this. Mfh has suprises everywhere. Going to prime soon.

I was talking to a friend at the NNL West and he said it’s better to buy direct from Hiro. I do not know how he does it but he likes it. He said great service and it only takes a week to get your model.

Pierre, you have fantastic builds. I too was very intimidated by hiro kits, but if you take each step as a complete model, one step at a time , it’s good. A lot of patience it takes. And I have sometimes had to redo an assembly 5-10 times. Or you can be like Chris Smith and jump right into it and things come out great. He is an incredible guy. Not afraid of no mfh kit. Him and my friend Mark are exceptions to the rule, as us mere mortals, I have to take it one step at a time. Sir definitely not out of your league.

Rethinking of this color. Very beautiful. I am confused

I am having a difficult time deciding a color. I was thinking of a silver blue with a red interior. Fly yellow was on my mind but it’s not a luxury color to me. More of an exciting race color. Maroon is also a color I am thinking of. Red is still on the reserved list. Have to look into yellow as David Lee has one and it looks pretty good. Steve McQueen had one but it was a brown metallic that I forgot the name of. Not really exciting on a model. But I might play with that. Difficult decision

P.S. red is still a great color ! Some People complain about Ferrari red but I will NEVER do that. Your black car is fantastic but I will never get tired of a Ferrari being red. Your a lucky man to have that car!
