Wasn’t going to start this until my Honda motorcycle was finished but I have waited a long time for this model, could not resist and started it. As a model factory hiro kit goes ,it needs work. The hood was not cast straight so I have to putty it. And the grill opening does not fit. So I will have to putty the gaps. The usual mfh stuff. The overall shape of the car is right on . This car, in my humble opinion, is one of the most beautiful pininfarina GT cars. Here goes……

Great purchase! I have some background in expensive automobiles. I am BMW , Ferrari, Ford GT and Corvette certified to work on the bodywork of these cars. The corvette is by far a great car. Especially for the price. America is great for making great things for the masses. You guys would be very surprised to see what the other expensive cars are made of. I call them expensive Tupperware. Enjoy your fantastic car!!! By the way I have a c6 that has 45,000 miles for $24,000. Same color as yours. Good job sir! -
LOL!!! Thank you Ray. There are 30 parts on each wheel. Does not look like it but it’s a lot of parts for one wheel. Oh ,,,,31 parts, I forgot the tire stem / valve.

Bought a Mercedes at the NNL west. Just went to Marks house to pick up a model factory hiro Ferrari lusso. In 1/24. I have been trying to get the lusso for years. ( for a decent price) Mark pulled some strings and located one. Wasn’t cheap, but the price was lower than most. Just finding one of these is very difficult.

Man I really love that car!!!!! I made the mistake of letting my wife drive it. It was hers after that. Just a beautiful automobile. True sports car. Perry does someone make a 1/25-1/24 model? I sure would love to build it.

Thank you beeRS. I tried that but realized it was getting hard to work with. So I decided to cut the opening which was a little nerve racking because of the paint job. I would suggest to fit these before painting. But it worked out.

Thank you gbtr6. By the way I had a TR6 and loved that car. When I retire I’m planning to buy another one. The logos on the car are decals from the kit. The only pe emblem is the Nickey on the trunk lid. I used a wash on it to bring out the letters. The kit decals are really great. I love the decal on the shifter knob, a 4 speed pattern like the hurst shifters of the day.

I solder white metal parts. Stronger than glue. But when I need glue I use jb weld ca with an activator.
