  1. Glad to see you have a great family. This helps greatly in recovery, I had this 3 years ago. I would not be here today if it was not done. My recovery took around 6 weeks. It’s incredible that blood work can identify these problems. You will be ok. Do it soon though as time is very important. Please let us know how it went. I feel great so I know you will too. Sincerely Bruce
  2. I have a friend that his dad had over 1500 kits and collected since the early 50’s. Really cool stuff that I have never seen before. He had passed, and she advertised the whole collection and the guy bought the whole collection for $18,000. Plus he was into ho trains and he saw that and gave her $10,000 for the train collection. Sometimes there is a happy ending.
  3. Seriously a vacuform? Lucius, you are really brave! Great job on a great looking model!
  4. Very beautiful! You’re a brave guy doing a ship model. We have, Dan, our ship builder in our IPMS club and his ship models are a masterpieces . Old ship models , especially wood are so beautiful and are at a whole new level. Great job!
  5. Cool build! I saw this car run. It was really fast!
  6. Very nice build ! Sorry about the spell correct.
  7. Dry nice build!!!!
  8. Thank you Jim. I put it down for now as I’m building a mfh Ferrari Lusso. I have been trying to get this kit for years. My friend Mark , who knows people all over the world, found one. So my holy grail kit comes first. As soon as the lusso is finished, back on the Honda.
  9. Put clear bra on parts of the bike I keep hitting when I put my foot thru. It’s been snowing here for some time now. Still really have not put her thru her paces.
  10. I remember they had a very small shop. Look at them now! Beautiful cars. The quality and beauty of these cars are the best. If I had the money, I would have one in my garage
  11. Hello 89AKurt, if you model white metal this comes in real handy. I’ve used it on plastic also. Good for holding onto small parts. Was a gift and now I use it all the time.
  12. Here is the tool I used to hold the parts for polish.
  13. Hey Bruce, yes close to Lake Tahoe
  14. Very cool!
  15. Well having life problems, garage door springs breaking, snowplow breaking, and a few other life problems I found time to polish the bumpers on the lusso. They are white metal the shape of bumpers and you have to sand , sand, sand, and polish them to a chrome finish. Holding them is the hard part. So far they look the part. The little ones under the headlights are in a bag , polished.
  16. Love Myrtle Beach! I only visited there once when my son graduated from FT Jackson . Reminds me of Santa Cruz 40 years ago. Some places are a little run down but it gives it a special feeling of 40 years ago. Wouldn’t mind retiring there. Wish I could attend.
  17. Great job
  18. WOW Art!!!!! Great job! Super fast corvette. Beautiful paint. Wheels, everything.Fantastic
  19. So was I but decided to pull the trigger after I rode around the neighborhood. Nice thing is that you still can pedal with 5 levels of assistance or you can throttle your way back home. I have a really big battery because of ( what riders call range anxiety) . Do not want to run out of battery. So far my 10 miles I have 99 percent of my battery left. I can probably do a 40 mile run without any issues. And that’s enough for this guy.
  20. Thank you Ray. I thought so too on the seat but it’s surprisingly comfortable. So far. Only went 10 miles on her then a snow storm hit. We now have a few inches of snow. Some YOUNG people will ride in it but I’m too old for that.
  21. Well sir, just took it for a ride. I’m very impressed with the whole thing. The service before the sale was fantastic. The delivery was great. Fed ex did a great job . The assembly was easy. The ride is great. The quality of the bike is pretty good. No rattle’s or noise. Very solid. The bike really moves. It has a speed of 20 mph but you can unlock it and it will do 32 mph. The paint finish is really nice. So far I’m very happy with the whole experience. Oh ….and the throttle is great. If you get tired, just hit the throttle and you move . I live in a very hilly area and the bike has no problem going up hills. I was a little surprised at the acceleration up hill. The brakes are hydraulic and stops smooth and fast. Yes I’m impressed. I’m 67 years old and get a little tired on a regular bike. Be honest with you I just about died riding around the neighborhood with my regular bike. So I decided I need a little help. I did 6 months of research on e-bikes . I do not know everything but I do know a deal. And aventon was on sale so I had to do it and glad I did. Hope this helps.
  22. New bike! Going to see how this is going to work.
