  1. This is an awesome thread. I've been tempted to jump in and scratch build a chassis and this looks to be just the inspiration I needed. Incredible work here.
  2. Very cool, in idea and execution.
  3. That looks great. I've not seen one of these on the shelves at my LHS so its great to see one all built up. I'd have been tempted to paint it. Just how big is this when all built up?
  4. Simply gorgeous. My favorite Camaro body style.
  5. I know all too well how that goes. LOL I'm looking forward to some updates, what ever you decide.
  6. One of my favorites of your builds Wayne. A true work of art. What's on the drawing board now?
  7. Sweet build. Count me in as liking the AWB cars too.
  8. Oh I can tell I'm really going got like this one. Carry on.
  9. Looks great to me.
  10. Very good point Bernard. Same thing goes for the white type on the fuel tank.
  11. A bright red would be awesome but so would any of the bright primary colors.
  12. Looks killer in primer Tyrone. Can't wait for your next installment. Have you decided on a color?
  13. Agreed. Can't wait to see what's next.
  14. If I had socks like those, I'd be cranky too. LOL
  15. Bill - you are a true craftsman. My hat's off to you.
  16. Thanks Doc. Now I now have burnt retinas with that image forever emblazoned on my corneas.
  17. Thanks for the comments Glu. I sure had fun amassing all of the parts, laying out the space and putting it all together. Now back to your regularly scheduled program. Carry on.
  18. This looks great Dave. Another stunning installment of your progress. I like the name and graphics. How will you print these out?
  19. This is just crazy enough to work and you, Jim, are certainly the one to pull it off. Looking forward to more details.
  20. Glu - your electrical stuff is over the top. I'd like to hear more about this annealing process you did with the printing plate because your light shade looks amazing!! Here's a link to my dio thread. Keep in mind I did the bulk of it over 20 years ago. I think another one is in my future. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42060&st=0 Keep posting your progress.
  21. Now we're talkin'. Those wheels look great and will just be more eye candy for this incredible build.
  22. Hurry up. I'm holding my breath.
  23. I'm just catching this build and went through all of the pages. Thanks for the how-to's and your valued insight. I see something similar to this in my future as I think I have most of the parts around here.
  24. That decal really sets off the entire finish on the body. Without you telling us about the work with the pen, we wouldn't be able to tell. Nicely done Ira. What's next?
  25. Thanks for the comments fellas. A bit more to add. I masked off the wiper pattern and fogged the windshield with dull coat sprayed at an arm's length. I've also been using Tamiya weathering powders to 'age' the overall vehicle and have a bunch more to do. Here's a pic of the windshield. Thanks for following along.
