  1. It came out nice and would look great on my shelf if she doesn't love it. Is that the Revell kit? I built one a while back called Skips fiesta or something like that. Wish there were a lot more kits of Bugs. Thanks for sharing.
  2. He put on a good show here back in the early '70s at Ball State University. I always liked his music.
  3. Great tip, thanks CrazyGirl.
  4. Great tip Harry! How long will the tips last if you leave them soaking in the thinner long term, have you ever had a problem with leaving them too long? Also, does this mean you never turn the spray can up side down to clear nozzle ever again? If so this is really good news!
  5. Micro Mark makes a nifty little tool that fits right down in the bottle and spins from power of a AA battery. When you are through mixing paint just spin the tool in a little bottle of thinner then wipe it off. Cost is about $12 I think, sorry I don't have my catalog handy but, you can order on line.
  6. I remember looking these over a while back but, forgot to leave a comment about how nice they are Richard. What a great collection of '58s, nice job. I really like the "Black Widow", I've never seen that done before.
  7. I think there is a chance some of the 10 and 15 cent bottles may still be good.
  8. Totally different from the Doc, are you feeling alright? I like it a lot and what a surprise! Nice choice of color and another beautiful build from the laboratory. Congrats.
  9. Nice start, never saw the movie, now I will look for it. I like the way you handling the interior.
  10. Derick, Hang in there man and get better, we need you back. You are an inspiration.
  11. Incredible work I can only ecoh. You are totally amazing. I can hardly believe my eyes.

  13. I'm diggin' the tow truck Nick. Which kit did you start with? The boom is really cool and your paint looks really neat too.
  14. Nice color combo, and I love the flathead. Nice job.
  15. I love the little diner for a backdrop, I need to do one. Nice work! You must love '57s like me, working on two right now.

    Monkeyshine

I wasn't sure what to expect with that name, way cool is what I would call it. All the weathering is perfect and I love all the little touches like the chain in f ront, the grill, the trunk, the wheels and tires, the soft top, the visor and every thing else. NICE!!!!!
  17. Beautiful paint work and perfect color. I would be careful laying the hood down on the paint like that though. The look from the front is killer, I love the grill. Nice job Carl.

    49 Merc

I love the color, beautiful job. Nice contrast with the interior and white steering wheel. The perfect Merc.
  19. Thanks Juan, I wish my bench looked as neat as yours. Mine will usually only stays that way long enough to take a picture then it's back to a mess like I have now.
  20. Thanks guys for the comments. I am opening my boxes in the parking lot once again. Here's a little update on the model. I still haven't started the chassis or engine yet. More to come.
  21. Here's mine today, not so neat. I'm still in Winter mode working from the kitchen table. Put some decals on the '57 last night around midnight then cleared over it today. I started another '57 Snap Kit just to practice BMF on. I painted it a second time today, used a whole bottle of 1/4 oz. Testors on this one, something I normally don't do. Happy Saturday!
  22. Nice job on the watermelon truck and the tractor. I love them both.
  23. Twenty dollars seems to be the going price for new 1/25 scale releases at shows in my area. Another thing I like about shows, no sales tax. Problem is there are not enough shows in my area.
  24. Never knew. Interesting subject matter. How many Flintstones would it take to get it going?
