  1. Nice looking DM800. I like it with the lowboy.
  2. Thanks for the heads-up on Spearhead. I just looked it up & requested it from my local library. Here's a Yarnhub video about the battler. The Cologne Tank Duel - YouTube
  3. That looks awesome! Fantastic details.
  4. That looks really nice. Very well done.
  5. Very cool. I like those colors. I've been looking for a 1957 Chevrolet 150 4-door sedan to make something like this: But, I can't find a 4-door 150. Of course, this would be cool, too: No idea where I'd source those decals, though.
  6. Great looking Pershing. Would this be WWII or Korean era?
  7. Rick, that is a serious number of 1957 Chevrolets! Looks like a dealership. From what I can tell, they look nice.
  8. Chuck, Is this the Revell kit you're talking about: And I'm guessing this is the MAT kit:
  9. That's going to be interesting. Small, too. I've always wondered why they use 1/50 for these trucks & not 1/48 which would make it the same scale as model aircraft, armor, & O-gauge railways.
  10. The Plate Shack has just about every type of plate you can think of (including commercial, apportioned, antique, etc.) for all US States & Canadian Provinces from the 1920s through today.
  11. Thanks, Richard. I thought the Revell Snap kit only had the custom mag wheels & lowered ride height. Maybe I'm thinking of a different kit.
  12. So, I guess this discussion begs the question: what is a good kit for a stock 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air?
  13. Never thought about the clear tape. Seems like a good idea. I've gotten several plates from The Plate Shack: http://www.plateshack.com/ and from Jim Moini's License Plates: http://moini.net/index.html. Then I just basically do the same thing Brian does: download, resize & print on paper. Can't do custom from these sites, though.
  14. Tamiya makes a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air?
  15. That looks great. Time to get that over to Davin at Hagerty!
  16. Well, that solves that mystery! I even searched "AMT kit 029-5539", but this didn't come up. Didn't think about MPC. Actually got the parts from a modeler in Canada back in 2018, but there was no return address on the box with the White-Wester Star in it. Post mark was Ottawa.
  17. Maybe. I really have no idea. Searching for "Revell kit 029-5539" brings up just about every imaginable type of kit from the USS Constitution, to aircraft, & Star Trek.
  18. Several years ago, I purchased, or traded for, an AMT White-Western Star kit; and this was in the box as a "bonus": It even says so on the plastic wrap. The tree is labeled 029-5539. Does anyone have any idea what kit this might have come from? Looks like dragster parts to me.
