  1. Thanks, guys. I appreciate the comments. Greg, maybe I'll put a whip antenna on the next one. It's going to be a 1949 Mercury Club Coupe made into "Sheriff" from Cars, but without the eyes!
  2. This is going to be cool. It sure is big.
  3. Meng makes two versions of the Renault FT in 1/35 - cast turret & riveted turret. Both did see action from May 1918 until the end of the war with French & US forces.
  4. Thanks, Dave. Eventually I'm going to build a matching police car, but not today!
  5. Thanks, Troy.
  6. Thanks, Dan.
  7. Thanks, Tom. Nope! I'm going to display it at my house.
  8. My 1957 Ford Custom 300 Fire Chief's car is now complete. Here is the Under Glass thread: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/117786-1957-ford-custom-300-fire-chiefs-car/
  9. Here is my completed 1957 Ford Custom 300 Fire Chief's car. I think it came out nicely (if I do say so myself). Is it a contest winner? No. Are there things I would do differently if I build this car again? Yes, but overall I'm pleased with the results.
  10. This dio can get extremely complicated extremely quickly! Research, research, research, and ask a lot of questions over on Armorama. As for the Tiger Moth, I'm guessing that you're talking about the DH.82. That aircraft didn't make its first flight until 1931. The Gloster Gladiator's first flight was in 1934. The FV4201 Chieftain is a cold war tank (1966-present). From the photo above, it looks like you have a mix of years. The infantry you have both look like early war (1914-1915), the tank was 1916, the Fokker E.III was 1916, and the Sopwith Triplane was from December 1916 - August 1917. This might help: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGreatWar Good luck.
  11. From the factory, for the 1977 GMC Astro/95, GMC offered the DD 6-71N, 8V-71N, 6V-92, 8V-92, 12V-71N; Cummins NTC290, & KT450; and the Caterpillar 3406. Now, this isn't to say that someone didn't have the Cummins NTTC475 & stuck it in a glider, or repowered an older Astro (the kit is basically a 1972-76, give or take a little).
  12. Yes, I defiantly think that qualifies!
  13. Very nice looking Peterbilt, Casey. Well done.
  14. Thanks, Joe.
  15. Thanks, guys. Just have to get the grill & front bumper on, then I can add the spot light, siren, & decals.
  16. Almost done! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and this time it's NOT the headlamp of an oncoming train.
  17. Looking really nice, Tom. Jeff's right, those decals add just a little bit more.
  18. Nope! Should be able to finish it up in the next few days.
  19. The glass is in, the chrome is on, and I'm one step closer to finishing by Halloween! Just some interior touch-up & all the exterior "doo-dads".
  20. Very impressive! Great work on the trailer.
  21. Great looking Ford.
  22. Looks really nice, KJ. I like it behind the K100.
