  1. Nice looking Peterbilt. I'm heading out to LA this weekend, so I'm hoping to see some trucks out there that I usually don't see here in Central New York.
  2. I think Ford had engines from Caterpillar & Cummins painted Ford Blue in the 1970s. Not sure about any Detroit Diesels, though. International Harvester had all of their engines painted IH red except for the V800 which was blue.
  3. I remember that scene. Nicely done.
  4. Well done! A very realistic bus.
  5. Really nice job on the Freightliner. Well done.
  6. Nice 1950s diorama. Well done.
  7. Great job on the Big Yellow Torpedo. Well done. I remember building that AMT tanker; it was a nightmare.
  8. I never realized that the Battlestar Galactica was 4720ft long. It's really big!
  9. That's huge! What scale is that supposed to be?
  10. Nice details on the cannons. Did she really have bronze cannons?
  11. Nice looking dump truck. Well done.
  12. That's an interesting concept. Since they were only made from 1972-74 I'm guessing that they weren't very popular.
  13. Nicely done. Beautiful background.
  14. They are looking really nice. Sailing the Soleil must have been like sailing a bathtub, although contempory reports said she had "good sailing qualities"; whatever that means. Remember that whole "cod & herring" thing? Great for a submarine, not so hot for a surface ship. The max speed of the Thermopylae was probably about 17 knots. The Soleil would be lucky to make half that.
  15. From the information that I have, the kit represents a 1970-71 C-11664DFL.
  16. That looks awesome, Charlie. Very realistic & spot on to the 1:1.
  17. The only one that I know of is from Illini Replicas: http://apps.aitruckmodels.com/Gallery/ It's a 1955, and it's on Page 2.
  18. Nothing like a little artillery to clear traffic!
  19. Extremely realistic! Very will done, Charles. Excellent replica.
  20. It's heat shrink tubing. It's used for electrical work.
