  1. Quite a few, apparently. Trucker humor, I guess. Didn't VW make a COE at one time? I seem to remember seeing pics of it. Maybe it was just a prototype.
  2. Yes, it does. The driver told me he put it there as a joke. He tells people that it's a VW.
  3. Ok, so I didn't actually see these recently, but here is a 1993 International 9600 that was being used to haul the carnival rides for last years Oz-stravaganza here in Chittenango, NY. The driver told me it used to be a Wal-Mart rig: This is a 1937 Ford that was in town back in 2011: As was this 1954 Chevrolet:
  4. I see that the RoG Kenworth W900 Wrecker is coming back, too.
  5. It's 1/25. This is interesting. Might have to check this one out. I figured it would be 1/87 (HO) or 1/48 (O). Must be pretty big in 1/25. Oddly Round2 still doesn't list any 2015 MPC kits on their Website.
  6. I really wouldn't expect any response, Sam. It would be nice, though. Yes, Mark, the wheels, & rear suspension for the K100 AeroDyne would be nice. Maybe they could just add them to the T600 if that ever get's reissued again.
  7. Which of the DM kits came with the 80000# hardbar suspension, or am I just imagining things?
  8. I was thinking about this, and if Round2 was going to issue "Parts Packs" I agree with Kevin that the unique Alaskan Hauler parts (headache rack, propane tanks, hood, bumper) would be a good one, as would the Montone dump body from the Autocar DC kit. (I like it better that the Heil dump body from the PayStar 5000 kit, but that's just me.)
  9. None that I've heard of. I don't think they are planning to reissue the DM800 any time soon.
  10. Is that what I think it is? Is that a short hood GMC General?
  11. I have thought that, too, Anthony.
  12. No idea, Pat; but probably.
  13. GR Decals out of Australia sells the Kangaroo P/E rain caps. Define "modern Hemi"? The Lindberg Dodge Charger kits (civilian & police) have a 2002 Hemi V8.
  14. From what I have gathered, the Alaskan Haulers were custom built by Kenworth for Hill & Hill Transport specifically for the Alaska Pipeline project. They were 1973 W900 with a either a wife nosed or narrow nose severe service hood. They also had the cold weather intake that took warn air from around the engine, ran it through the air cleaner then into the cylinders. I think it was called a Canadian Intake (or something like that). I do not believe they were used in the lower 48, although there is a wrecker in LA that is an old Alaskan Hauler.
  15. Well done, Tom. The Titan & the Camaros really look great. Looking forward to seeing this at Fulton or SYRCON (which ever one I can make it to).
  16. I still think a Peter-ized DAF XT would be cool looking.
  17. I have a Stralis in the stash as well. If you want to "Peter-ize" a Euro truck maybe a DAF XF105 would be a good choice. Go with KFS' DAF XT hood, or something like that. Kenworth already uses the DAF cab for the K500. Seems logical to me.
  18. Your cockpit looks great. Very nicely detailed. Is that a 20d Dungeons & Dragons die I see?
  19. Nice looking LRDG Chevrolet. What did the British Army call these? Something about "hundred-weight"?
