If you're going for the 1970s look, try sewing elastic that you tint a light tan with Minwax Oak Stain. Here are a couple of shots of the hose bed I did for my American-LaFrance 1000 Series Pumper:
I use Dupli-Color a lot, and I spray it right out of the can. Since I don't own an airbrush, I've never tried to decant it to use in an airbrush. As for primer, I use either the gray, white, or red Dupli-Color primer depending on what I am painting.
Nice looking snowplow. I like the floats on the front. Nice job on the engine, too. Tilting the hood make a big difference, & adds a nice detail. Question though, why does it have a blue light on the roof of the cab? Shouldn't it be amber?

I've been trying to paint the cab over the last few days, but that ridiculous red plastic keeps turning the white stripe a slight pink!! :angry: The cab is in the purple pond, and we'll try again this weekend.
Yes, the T900 is the W900 kit with some Australian-ish stuff & a right hand drive dash thrown in the box. I just checked my W900 Wrecker kit, and it does not have the sleeper in the box.
