  1. Great looking Peterbilt!
  2. Here's another one: http://www.modelmakershop.com/modelmakershop/ If you go to Czech Truck Modell under Additional Parts, there is a nice P/E set for the AMT White-Freightliner.
  3. Great job! Love the detailing.
  4. Normally I don't expect any plastic or plastic related items for Christmas or my birthday, and I'm ok with that. That way I get what I want, and I don't get any really off the wall stuff that I'll never build. So, I was pleasantly surprised when my in-laws gave me this: Granted, this is something that I probably wouldn't have purchased myself, and I am actually looking forward to the build. Not sure when yet, though. Has anyone ever built this kit? Can anyone tell me anything about the actual vehicle? The Itlaeri Website has it listed in the 1950-1990 era, but I'm guessing that it closer to 1990. I am planning on building it as a Vigili del Fuoco truck as IVECO is an Italian company. Just thought I'd pass along a little bit of my Christmas suprise to all.
  5. You wouldn't happen to have a link for these guys, would you? I did a search, and came up with 100000 sites selling decals for the University on Minnesota Golden Gophers.
  6. Wonder if they'll bring back the truck kits as well.
  7. If this keeps up, the truck manufacturers might have to bring back COEs.
  8. That's pretty long. What's pulling it? Where was this taken?
  9. Nice set of cab-overs. I like them.
  10. I'm not sure about the first one (maybe a Road Xpeditor 2); but the second pic is a White Road Commander II, probably late 1970s (1977 or 1978).
  11. Gotta' love the Huey! Such an iconic helicopter with a very uinique sound. And, Andy, you're right, you always know when one is flying around. You can feel & hear them long before you can see them.
  12. Nice concept. I like your mockup.
  13. These were incredable! And they're pretty big, too. I wonder what scale "Subway" is.
  14. That is sad news, but I guess all good things must come to an end. JW, have you tried Elm City Hobbies in New Brunswick: http://www.elmcityhobbies.com/shop/? Then there's always Doug Walker of Doug's Scale Truck Replicas http://www.dougsscaletruckreplicas.com/index.html). He's out of Victoria, BC; and he does decals & resin parts. I have some of his decals, and they are quite nice. I've heard good things about these guys: http://www.scalehobbyist.com/index.php Ok, they're not from Canada; they're from New Hampshire. But they sell trucks!
  15. Thanks for the reply. I bet they wouldn't be cheep!
  16. That surely can't be good for their lungs. They'll probably wonder why they have lung cancer in 20 years.
  17. Is there a reason why they smoke so much? Are the engines just torqued up that much that the oil just blows into the cylinders? Looks like the're running on coal. I think coal would actually be cleaner! Talk about an environmental disaster.
  18. Nice job on the interior. You can almost smell the dirty sneekers!
  19. That's really nice. I'm looking forward to picking one up.
  20. But this is supposed to be a 1957.
  21. The engine should be Cummind Beige. Tamiya Deck Tan XF55 is a good match. As far as the no part numbers on the sprues, most of the Round2 reissues don't have numbers on the sprues; or the numbers on the sprues are the old numbers & they don't match the instructions.
  22. I'm not "up" on 1950s cards, but isn't this a Ford Mainline?
  23. Nice! Now if we could only see quality figures like this in 1/25!
  24. I thought it looked familiar.
  25. Nice Dodges. I really like the CN800. Did you use the L700 frame for that? Speaking of the L700, what happened to your left front wheel? Also, is that the Italeri base? (I'm just full of questions, aren't I? See, there's another one!)
