  1. So the air ride suspension in the AMT Peterbilt kits is "aftermatket" and not a Peterbilt exclusive?
  2. Incredible work! Great job on both. Love your attention to detail.
  3. Hopefully, Revell/Monogram is just "testing the waters" with the 1/16 Peterbilt 359. Maybe if the Peterbilt sells well, we'll see the Kenworth W900 come back.
  4. Excellent job, Heiko! It really looks fantastic. Very realistic.
  5. Thanks, Bob. The interior really is amazing. I think it's a great kit.
  6. Thanks, guys. @Chris, purple just seemed like the perfect match. Either that or black!
  7. Thanks, Jonathan. I'm not sure I'll build another LoneStar. It was a nice build, though.
  8. Thanks! The issue with the cab wasn't all of the chrome, but with the fit of the interior into the cab shell. I dry fit the interior several times into the cab shell before I added the windows, and it was a tight fit, but manageable. Once the windows were in, the cab lost a lot of it's "flex" and the interior was quite difficult to get it. I actually had the interior disentergrate while I was trying to get it in. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. Then, when I was adding the cab to the frame, I knocked off one of the front shocks. Not exactly sure how I did that, though. Once that happened, all of the little issues that are just part of modeling became huge stress issues. In the end, I am happy with the results, and very happy with the kit. I'm actually looking forward to the ProStar.
  9. Here are few pics of my 2011 International LoneStar for Warren Transport. I managed to finish this up last night. The cab/sleeper & hood are Testors Boyd Grape Pearl, and the frame is Dupli-Color Gloss Black. I used the Warren Transport decals from the KFS US Cab Artwork Set #1, the DOT tape is from JBOT, and the Texas license plates are from the Revell of Germany Kenworth W900. All in all, the build went well; but I must admit that the cab really gave me fits! I am quite pleased with the results. Here are a couple of shots of the engine & interior:
  10. Wikipedia not correct? Surely you jest?
  11. Some very promissing builders, there. Nice trucks.
  12. Really cool set-up. Can be used for all sorts of vehicles. Don't you mean 1895 Duryea? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duryea_Motor_Wagon_Company
  13. Amazing dash work! You are putting a lot of detial into this build. Great job.
  14. Oh, yes, the trailers show up. I was just so floored by the Cruiseliner that I forgot to comment on them.
  15. Great looking Cruiseliner! Love the details. How do you post a slideshow?
  16. Maybe that's where I saw them!
  17. It wasn't Model Car Garage. It was Scale Equipment Ltd. Sorry about that. http://www.seltd.net/ez-catalog/X344897/21?layout=system:layout_0100.xsl
