  1. The WorkStar uses the LoneStar/ProStar cab?
  2. This is a welcome kit. I noticed on a Spaulding that this kit & the Peterbilt 352 are pre-offered at $44.95. Considerably more than their previous offers. Oh well. The price of oil I guess.
  3. Have you tried Fierball Model Works: http://www.fireballmodels.info/? He specializes in helicopter decals. Or maybe Cobra Company: http://www.cobracompany.com/indexfeb.htm He has some decals.
  4. Just about anything will look good behind this tractor. The any of the AMT Fruehauf trailers, or the Ertl Great Dane trailers. Maybe even the Moebius Great Dane trailer. The Wilson Livestock trailer will not fit due to the fixed fifth wheel and the belly on the trailer. Also, you might have to widen the hole in the fifth wheel to accept to AMT kingpin.
  5. Here are a few more that my dad has made over the last few years: a car carrier (looks a little like a Ford Model TT), a dump truck, Jeep, and a quint. Let's just say that since his retirement, he has enjoyed spending time in hit workshop making toys for his 5 grandkids. He's made all sotrs of things: a barn, baby pull toys, rubber-band powered dragsters (they actually didn't work as well as planned), doll houses, train, biplane, & a helecopter. We've started to call him "Geppetto"!
  6. Nice collection of Hollywood trucks. I like them.
  7. Thanks, guys. They're quite nice, and I hope they'll be around for a long time.
  8. For my son's seventh birthday, my dad made him some toy trucks. He made him a tractor (that looks sort of like a cross between a HET and a Kenworth), a side dump trailer, (yes, it actually works) and a lowboy trailer. I figured you guys would enjoy seeing them, so I snapped a couple of pics of them while they are still photogenic.
  9. Woops! Well, that one way to show off a detailed frame. Great execution.
  10. Does anyone have any pics from under the hood of a White Road Boss that does NOT have external air cleaners? I'm planning on a Roadway White Road Boss, and they seemed to use an under hood air cleaner.
  11. Looks good, but I wouldn't be driving that under any overpasses any time soon!
  12. Great looking Autocar! It sure is a brute. Nice job in the hinges. What's going under the hood?
  13. Impressive diorama! So much detail, and so big.
  14. Nice looking Freightliner.
  15. Looking good! There sure is a lot of detail in those GMM sets.
