  1. Bet you won't do THAT again!
  2. Try Czech Truck Modell: http://www.modelmakershop.com/modelmakershop/index.php?cat=c126_Czech-Truck-Modell.html&XTCsid=2m19t2a03eg0v8hhtt0bp8a6j1 They have a P/E set for the Astro with the small grill & one with the big grill. It's just not always available.
  3. Looking really nice, Brian. If I may make a small suggestion: adding as fifth wheel release handle to the left side of the fifth wheel will dress that up a little.
  4. Jonathan, I'm with you. I'm not sure what I want for Father's Day, but I'm sure my kids will do something in school for me. And with my birthday so close to Father's Day (my Dad always says that I was the most expensive Father's Day gift he ever got ), Father's Day is sort of an anti-climax for me. I'm sure my wife has something planned for me; like spreading top soil & mulch!
  5. The only resin "modern" Cummins engine that I know of is the Aulsowe Signature600. Since this is the predecessor to the ISX, I suppose it could be "updated".
  6. Excellent sculpting, Derrick. I can get scrapple in our local grocery store's freezer case.
  7. We do what we can! Reserve duty? Are you in the Army? What unit?
  8. I agree with Chuck, just do it. I've seen it done before on different trucks, and it looks good. I'm thinking of putting it on either the Paystar or the GMC General as a quad axle truck.
  9. Great model! They sure do stack them on there, don't they!
  10. Interesting. What did you use to "chrome" the bumper?
  11. Yahshu, nice job on the frame. I thought the Papa & Hideout trucks came out first which is why all the AMT KW Aerodynes have the long reame.
  12. Barry, try here: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truckkit_instructions/ertl/8025_international/ If that doesn't work for you, I have two in the stash. I can check to see if they both have instrictions, and send you a set if you want them.
  13. Nice job. I don't think i'd like to drive that around Tokyo, though!
  14. Nice. Are you going to put a wing on the top of the sleeper?
  15. Here's the one I use for work all the time: http://www.onlineunitconversion.com/ You can convert just about anything!
  16. The Kenworth K500 uses thr DAF XF cab.
  17. Great 1970s aerodynamics!
  18. Fantastic work, Jarda. Absolutely fantastic!
  19. Jacobus, I'm not sure what you have in Holland, but you can check with K&S Metals; they sell a lot of tubing to the modeling industry. Also, it you want a really chrome stack (probably not on this build) check in electronics stores for collapasable antennas for radios.
  20. Don't electrocute yourself, Larry!
