  1. Good point, but it's still 30 years out of date.
  2. Yes, the engine that comes in this kit is a Cummins NTC350. Needless to say, it's a little out of date. Looks like an interesting rebuild.
  3. Nice find! Those cab overs look like they're in pretty sad shape.
  4. Nice looking paint combination.
  5. That's one sweet looking K100!
  6. As to decals, well, just thinking out loud here, but what about something like Ryder? That way it could be a leased trailer & it can be displayed with any tractor. I see a lot of Ryder trailers on the road.
  7. Ok, you've convinced me! I'll get one. It looks like it's a really nice kit. I think Moebius has another winner!
  8. I think there's one of thise GG1 on display over at the New York State Fair Grounds.
  9. That's pretty cool! And it's one busy terminal.
  10. That looks really nice. It really captures the essence of Old San Juan. If the road was flatter I might have said New Orleans!
  11. It does make sense. I mean, why would you offer something for sale if you were only going to make one or two of them? Not worth the production costs. Now I don't travel the highways much, but when I do I try to take notice of the trucks. I think I've maybe seen three Argosys, and when I do it's like "Oh, my God! A cabover!" I actually stopped next to one at one of the NYS Throughway Plazas last year.
  12. I think you can still get the Argosy: http://www.freightlinertrucks.com/Trucks/Models/Legacy/Argosy
  13. Blue & Lime Green? Should be interesting.
  14. That looks like hell! But that's a good thing. Is that a Winn-Dixie Pez dispenser? I didn't know Winn-Dixie was in Australia. That's pretty cool. I worked for them when I lived in Miami.
  15. What a bizarre movie! The yellow Peterbilt 359 is really nice though. I think it starts the movie as a white Peterbilt 358.
  16. This one? http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truckkit_instructions/revell/7527-kenworth-orien/
  17. I thought the Mack R-Series from AMT was a 1975-79.
  18. That is one amazing model. Very detailed & realistic! The only problem I see is the solder's uniform: it's not WWII era. it's 1990s.
  19. I have no idea who "L'express du Midi" are, but they sure have some nice trucks!
  20. A guy on another board told me that Tamiya Metallic Blue X13 right out of the jar is a perfect match.
