  1. Ah, AMT. Maybe they should change ther name to DQF (Doesn't Quite Fit). Of course if they did, they probably woudn't sell too many models! But hey, it's a 40 year old mold.
  2. There are probably a couple of reasons why you cannot post pics. Your files might be too big. There is a 1.9M limit to the total attachments you can make. Or they could be the wrong file type, but that shouldn't cause too many problems. Your best bet for posting pics here is to open a free Photobucket account, upload the pics to Photobucket, then post the IMG link in your post. Give that a try.
  3. Western Star would be nice. Peterbilt 352 would be cool, too. Heck, I'd be happy with the Great Dane reefer.
  4. Looking really nice, Ray. This is one sharp looking Pete!
  5. I'm likeing it so far.
  6. Excellent job, Jarda.
  7. Looking good, Ray. I like the red stripes with the silver.
  8. Looks really nice, Tim. How does the Krylon Allis-Chalmers Orange compare with Swamp Holly Orange? I've been trying to find a decent match that doesn't cost $15.
  9. Wow! Nice jobs all around.
  10. Thanks for the compliments, guys. Yes, Kenworth had their engines painted white until about 1976 or so. As for progress, I've managed to get the cab & hood sealed with the BIN/Zin Sealer & Dupli-Color White Primer; but that's about it.
  11. Here are some that I found on Hank's: http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/df_monfort.htm
  12. Here you go: http://www.aitruckmodels.com/
  13. Great news, Kurt! Let us know when it's ready; I'll definately take one. And as it's just turned too cold here in CNY to paint in the garage I probably won't need it until Spring! See you at Fulton?
  14. Thanks for the info, guys. I appreciate it.
  15. Dave's parts are really nice. I've used his wheels on more than one project. That W900 you've got planned sounds great!
  16. Just that one little label? Interesting. Remember what it was for? If I might make a small suggestion? On the next run of the decal sheet, if you could include a small "Interantional" logo for the glove box that would be great.
  17. Does anyone have any pics of the frame warning labels (if any) that are on the International LoneStar? From the pics I've managed to find, they don't seem to have frame warning labels like PACCAR.
  18. True, writing the book would keep him busy for a while; but once the book royalties start coming in he'll have extra "disposable income" to spend on resin!
  19. There's nothing wrong with shades of gray.
  20. Nice job on the W900.
  21. It is. That's why you need the cab & sleeper from the RoG kit, and the hood from the AMT kit. They fit. Sort of.
  22. Yes, you do. You need the frame, front suspension, & hood from the AMT Kenworth W925 kit, you'll need the cab, interior, & sleeper from the Revell of Germany Kenworth W900 or T900 kit, you'll need to get a tandem torsion bar suspension from Eric over at P&P Resin Works (unless the AMT kit you're using already has one), you'll need the Auslowe Cummins VT903 engine, and you'll need to get the "Movin' On" decal set from Jbot. That should about do it for the series truck. For the pilot "In Tandem" truck you won't need the cab & sleeper from the Revell of Germany kit or the VT903. Yes, I've been planning this build for a LONG time.
