Well, I've been working on this for a little while now; so I figured I'd post some WIP pics. I have the frame & suspension done & tank assembled. My plan is to plum the brake lines. We'll see how that goes. Anyway, that's where I am so far.

Thanks, guys. Glad you like it. @Mark R - I've been trying to improve my dashes, so thanks for the comments. I think it came out rather nicely, too. Used toothpicks to paint the silver on the bezel rings. It takes some practice, but I'm getting better. I just wish the photo wasn't blurry. @Matthew - touched that up this morning! @Ray - Thanks. Just scanned in the cover of my copy & reduced it. Would you like the file? The Atlas I got from the Rand McNally Website. I wanted to make a mapcase or something, but I couldn't figure out how. Did have a "minor" set back today. Turns out the engine is mounted too high to get the aircleaner piping to fit. So, I had to remove engine, and mount it lower. See? These are the things you learn when you do things like this.

So it's been a while since I posted any progress on my 1980 Kenworth W900. I haven't managed to get a lot done, but I did make some progress. Since the last post I've finished the interior (some of the "Old Timers" might recognize the book on the bunk), mount the hood & cab, and break the drive shaft while mounting the cab! It's always an adventure. I think it's just stacks, radiator, roof lights, & horns. Then we'll call it done.

You got a point there, dude! Also, if a modern trailer hit the market, there would be chatter about it for months a head of time. Just look at all the talk about the LoneStar. I couldn't tell from the photo, but I thought he might have scratchbuilt it, or something. Mooooo!
