  1. Looks like it's coming along nicely. I like the color combination.
  2. Very nice. I like this one a lot. Tony, good tip on colored plastic. I'll have to five that a try one of these days.
  3. If you want an accurate Mack Superliner out of the Italeri kit, you've got a lot of work a head of you. It's a challenge. I like challenges!
  4. These articles might help (or they'll totally screw you up, one or the other): Detailing Mack E-9 Correcting Frame Pt.1 Correcting Frame Pt.2 Correcting Cab Putting it All Together
  5. Have a good deployment, and come back safely. What type of unit are you in, or can't you say?
  6. Nice job! I like the stripes. The entire model looks very cleanly built.
  7. I hear ya, Mark! I'm sort of doing he same thing. Fromm what I know, the LoneStar will be 1/25.
  8. Very nice. I like what you've done. That couldn't have been too easy on that cab. The suspension looks good.
  9. спасибо! That's really good information on hinging those doors. Now, I wonder if I can make it work on a 1/25 LT9000.
  10. Here's the link to Revell of Germany's Website: Bill Signs Peterbilt 359
  11. Rumor has it that it's going to be about $132.
  12. Yes, this is good news. It's a good looking tractor, and I have a spare Caterpiller 3408 & a long hood for it. Now, I just have to figure out what to do about the front tires.
  13. Looking really nice, Dave. I like your attention to detail. Maybe you could offer this & the Ward-LaFrance P80 as a "Station 51" package. Hint. Hint. I know that Jbot offers decals for the squad, but who offers decals for the engine?
  14. Very nice. Now, you're assuming that the Code 3 squad is correct. Is the 10-8 body similar to the one that STS offers STS Conversions Page 2?
  15. Scott S. That ALF Eagle dump was off the beaten path on Central Massachusetts. Somewhere on Route 16 near Webster (I think)
  16. That's pretty interesting. I bet turning the real one can be a real pain, bu I bet it goes straight really well!
  17. Well, it depends on what you want. SourKraut's is good, but he does have some stock issues. If you're looking for resin parts there's Dave at American Industrial Truck Models. If it decals you need, then I recommend you get in touch with Jerry over at Model Truckin'. Another place is Model Trucks & Parts. Check out the Czech Truck Modell section! I can also recommend Evan over at Melbourne Model Truck Accessories. Another guy "down under" is Bruce at GR Decals. He has a lot of the Kangaroo P/E. There's also Sharon at Spaulding Trading & Shipping. And there's Special Appearance Decals. If I remember any more, I'll besure to post them.
  18. I've heard that Harly is worse that Caterpiller when it comes to copyrights.
  19. Well, that's different! I like it. Over the weekind I actually saw an American-LaFrance Eagle that had been made into a dump. It was somewhere in Massachustts, or maybe Rhode Island.
  20. Here are the latest in progress pics for my 1975 Fruehauf Tank Trailer. As you can see I managed to get some paint on the tank & frame, and I plumbed the brake lines. First time doing that. It was interesting. I decided to go without the spare tire carrier as most fuel tankers don't have one. Enjoy.
  21. Nice one, Chuck. I like it as a flatbed. I've seen lots of pics of real L700s as flatbeds, but rarely tractors. Nice job.
  22. Thanks for the interior shots. Very cool. I like your "fire extinguisher under glass". Nice touch. What exactly is that on the bed?
  23. Very nice. I like you attention to detail. Not much clearence on thet bumper, huh?
  24. You sure like those older trucks. It's comming along nicely.
