  1. You were right. In 1/32 the trailer is 15ft-4in high; while in 1/25 it's 11ft-11-3/4in high.
  2. Ok, so going by your dimensions, in 1/32 scale this trailer is 41ft-4in long and 112in wide. In 1/25 it's 32ft-3-1/2in long by 87-1/2in wide. What's the hieght from the "road surface" to the top of the trailer?
  3. 1976 to about 1982. It's the predecessor to the W900B.
  4. Nice looking frame. I like the detail you added.
  5. No probelm on the wait. Those chians are pretty cool. Thanks for the tips.
  6. They do look better loaded. Those are some big trees! Or were.
  7. Looks pretty convincing to me! So, will that have a Detrotpiller in it?
  8. Looks to be about the right height, but it looks a little short. How long is it? And how tall (in inches) is it?
  9. So far it's looking pretty good. I like the weathering on the frame. How did you do that?
  10. Nice job on the KW. All of them look great.
  11. Well, it depends. The kit is a 1976-82, so if you make it a 1976 or 1977 I'd go white, otherwise Caterpiller Yellow.
  12. Bill, that's really, really nice. Great work.
  13. That's a nice looking W900. I like the colors combination. As for the engine, that's white.
  14. Can you post the pic?
  15. Interesting. What's the flag on the front bumper for?
  16. Very nice! Now one could make a correct Can Do wrecker.
  17. I came across this on another site. I'm not exactly sure how useful it is to us truck modelers, but I figured I'd post the link anyway: Model Candey
  18. Richard, thanks for that lesson on the C15. You wouldn't happen to know the "life cycle" of the 3406, would you?
  19. As far as Cummins engines go, this is what I've been able to find out: L-10 - 1982 - 1998 ISL - 1999 - Present M11 - 1994 - 1999 M11 Plus - 1996 - 1999 ISM - 1999 - Present N14 - 1992 - 2002 Signature 600 - Introduced in July 1997 ISX - ~1999 or 2000 introduction If it were my T800 (which it's not), I'd go for the N14; but I think either the N14, 3406E, or Series60 would be appropriate. Would a Caterpiller C15 be appropriate for this year of truck? When were the C12 & C15 introduced?
  20. G.W. Trucks does a 1990s T800H with an external air cleaner. You should be able to get it from Chris @ Sourkraut. You'll also need the T800/T600 suspension correction. I have this for my T600, and it's quite nice.
  21. Nice frame work, and your air tanks look nice, too. Is your engine going to be yellow or blue? What is that "base" it's resting on? Is that telescoping for different frame lengths? To tell the truth, it looks a little like something from Star Wars.
  22. Good luck with this one! This is a tough kit, and the fit isn't all that great. Well, at least on mine it wasn't. It does look nice when it's done; just don't touch it ot it'll fall apart.
  23. Interesting! A twin steer T600. Don't think I've ever seen one of those.
