  1. Thanks for the info. I know very little Russian, but my Russian & Moldovan dance instructors are sort of teaching me. I'm trying, but it's not easy.
  2. I don't think my wallet, or SWMBO, could handle it!
  3. That's really nice. I'm diggin' the wing. What are you going to use to paint it? Will you be using Alclad, or something like that? спасибо
  4. Dave used the battery boxes from the Revell USA/Monogram Kenworth W900 for those. I think they're late 1970s early 1980s. I don't know if Gary Wallace has newer ones or not. He has a lot of KW stuff.
  5. Dude! You're killing me! I'm going to have to get about (6) more of the Revell of Germany W900s. How are those torsion bars suspensions coming?
  6. That looks nice, Eric. Too bad I'm not a Peterbilt guy, but I know someone who is!
  7. For this GMC, you could go with the All Season's Collectable Toys GMC Topkick which is a 1999: http://sourkrautsmodeltrucks.com/?page_id=3&category=2&product_id=28. Here's his crew cab version: http://sourkrautsmodeltrucks.com/?page_id=3&category=2&product_id=536. Plaskit makes a hood conversion: http://sourkrautsmodeltrucks.com/?page_id=3&category=6&product_id=84 Daniel makes good stuff. You can get a hold of him at plaskit_resin@yahoo.ca As for a base kit: you'll need an AMT Chevy Silverado kit AND an AMT Ford LN8000 kit. Lo-Pro tires couldn't hurt either. http://sourkrautsmodeltrucks.com/?page_id=3&category=9&product_id=109 As for an engine, well you'll have to modify the one in the Silverado kit as there are currently no resin Class 5 engines available. I think the Caterpiller 3208 from the Ford LN8000 kit will be too big. You need a Cheyy Big Block V-8. Hope this helps.
  8. Mobeius Webstore still says end of 2010 for a release date, and $69.99 for a price. http://www.clubmoebius.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=1300
  9. Nice looking Western Star. And the trailer seems to be coming along nicely, too.
  10. Wonder why a MAN engine? That doesn't make sense to me. Personally, I'm hoping for the MaxxForce engine that Navastar makes.
  11. Nice trailer. Should be a nice combo. What kit are you using for the trailer?
  12. Welcome to the board, Anthony. I see that you're over at Armorama. Are you doing Hermon's (VonCuda) Group Build over on ModelGeek: End Of Days. Bob (Old-Dragon) is running a truck build over on AutoModeler: OTR. As for your cabs, All Season Collectable Toys is run by Tim Sherman down in Binghamton, NY. You might be able to check with him directly. PM me, and I'll send you his phone number & email address. Or call or email Chris at Sourkraut. Sometimes he doesn't get a chance to update qualtities on his site. If you really want an International 4400, you might want to check with Dave Carey over at Models by Dave. He's also a memner here. Good luck with your builds, and have fun.
  13. Looking good, Tim. That dark green sure is something else.
  14. That looks sweet, Chris. Very, very nice. Will the kit be available through Sourkraut?

  16. Here, don't reinvent the wheel. This might help get you started: 3406 Detailng. Did you try Truck Paper? Sometimes there are decent engine pics.
  17. I believe the engine in the repop International 4300 is an International V800. I think the Cummins V903 was in the International 4200 kit.
  18. Apparently, the closest color to the blue that Internationl used is Testors Model Master Auto Lacquer 1969 Ford Metallic Acapulco Blue.
  19. This is looking really nice. I'd be interested in a wing. I need one for a Peterbilt 359.
  20. That looks amazing! How did you do the dash? What did you use for toggle switches? Very cool. And I love the wing.
  21. Thanks. I'm going to see if I can track it down.
  22. That's a good idea! I was told theat Testors Model Masteres Automotove Laquer Metallic 1969 Ford Acapulco Blue was a good match for the blue that International used on the V-800.
