  1. Laser printed and ALPS are two types that I really try and avoid if I can , nothing wrong persay , just not as crisp, and depending on the printer and what paper they use, it makes a world of difference, plus they are just a pain to apply. And then you throw in the a colored body, and now you have to worry about some bleed thru, unless you double up, which is great if you dont mind buying two dekal sheets. So I am kind if with you, I would rather have my options limited and use silk printed. ( Off topic side random note, I am having dilemma right now, I trying to chose between ordering some ALPS printed or silk from cartograf decals.)
  2. Another one from Meng that is a , didnt see this one coming.

  4. You lucky SOB, ive been after one for a long time now for a decent price, what I get for not keeping on top of it.
  5. The only Silverado kit with the stock parts is the stock version of the kit sadly , the closet you can get to a Yukon is Revell did the Caddy Escalade kit, no stock wheels though, I think it was a part of the Donk or Cali wheels series
  6. Yes, the P/E is really nice.
  7. That is a very good idea, much much much much better kit.
  8. Lovely work you have done
  9. Finally finished up the 21, had some issues, forget to clear coat the decals so Ive started rubbing them off, usal refinements made, lower ride height, swapped out the tires, added jack bolts, spiltter, different seat, fuel lines, decals from Stoney and Powerslide. Not overally pleased with my efforts on this one, not a big fan of ALPS decals
  10. At the current moment, no tractor , but more than likely it will be a Lonestar, all though I kind of want to get another Volvo VN , but darn the reissue being molded in blue Fun Fact, the Lone Star/Prostar kit is where I got the chicken lights for the last one , so I am probably going to have get another so can get the chicken lights
  11. It probably wont get a driver , but if it were too, it would be Kurt Busch as my first choice.
  12. Ohhh, you were so close, 53 ft scales out to 26.5 , but you right, there are some things that I can do that will kind of give the impression that it is a bit longer, like the generator compartment , that will add a couple more inches on the front. But here is the kicker if you will, Featherlite has made in the past these trailers in 50ft lengths, so its not at all unrealistic . If you can find a sheet that is 26 and a half inches long that is no more than .40 thick let me know.
  13. Spent some time last night working on the liftgate track system , I normally wait till later , but its one of the easier things to do and that was the mood I was in( something easy), the track system is made of L Channel I am sure there might be a better way to go about this, but after getting them cut, I play a game of Tetris and have something that looks like this, it takes three pieces . And attached to the inside And the slider piece that I will cut down later and it will be attached to the liftgate, simple I-Beam , or maybe H. And a undershot , I-Beams in place for that added extra strength and something to attached the axles too
  14. What wheel are you looking and what size?, if it is the RE30, you can get in 18 or 19 inch.
  15. Its molded in white .
  16. So, you all seen the 2,41 have been finished, probably wondering what is going on with the 21, well, you see, I am an idiot it seems, I was trying to clean the water spots off the hood, wasnt thinking, and was using a little bit of polish, and well, this happened I just done that the same on Brad's car and forgot that there is big difference between the decals
  17. Evergreen biggest sheet is 12x24, I want to do one that is 53ft long, and my next will be , I just have figure out the best way to go about it , and one that is cost effective at the same time, those 12x24 sheets are around $15 a pop, but, I would need less, but still bumps the overall cost up by $10 I think. The one nice thing with the 6X12 sheets is the 6inchs is the perfect size for the sides of the trailer, more so for the rear part, very little trimming is needed, and the front part, as you can see, very little as well. What it comes down to is for me personally, I like to keep the number of seems down to a minimum on the sides/roof/floor
  18. They dont need to if they are 25 years old, and some Japanese Domestic cars meet our standards , and or, you can bring the car up to US spec in some cases to make it legal, and it can be legal at the state level and not the federal level.
  19. Slowly moving forward, sides have been cut, I still to cut out the kurbside ( spelled that way on purpose) door, first the rear section
