Typical Revell kit though, needed work on the ride hight, after some work, got the ride height to a more realistic height. I drilled out the center of the wheel back, glued it to the brake's and then mounted it , side stepping the metal pins.

Thank god for scale and conversion calculators , anyways, I am moving forward and removed the wiring.

Yeah David, I am in complete agreement with you on the wire, It is too big and knew it but got all excited I supposed and went ahead using it anyways, I am going to pull it. For the wedge adjustment , I might leave, its a lot closer than the wiring is , but I do still think the next smaller size , .75mm , or .64mm

I guess this almost going to be a out of box build, using the kit decals for this one, I redid the fuel lines, kind of ish removed the one molded in, and replaced it with the correct two ( fuel line/return line) I also added the wedge adjustment bolts and track bar adjustment bolt, I used .88MM rod, thinking I need to go down one more size. Also replaced the kit seat with one from previous NASCAR glue kits, and added one of the missing roll bars. Added some wiring to the engine, again, I think I need to go down one size, used the new tubing from Tamiya and still waiting on the two smaller sizes, used .80. Pretty much used a bunch of different Metalizer paints on the engine.

Interesting, covering them in clear tape, I print mine out on photo paper, and the strength seems to be on point so never thought about that. I can not tell you the last time I use any kit based plate bases.

I am with Bob on this, and its what I do most of the time, but I dont glue, I use double sided clear tape.

Got started on mine, its going to be painted in BMW Steel Blue Getting the body ready for painting, there were a few mold/seem lines that I could find, and they were very faint. And the chassis painted up

On plus side, we can almost build year round here.

I dont off the top of my head, but yes, you can use the Revell snap or when it comes out glue kit, its really close, just some mods need to be made, Google Arca composite body.

You know that for a long time, Arca teams have been buying their cars from the Cup teams, so they are all ex NASCAR Cup Series cars, but if you talking about the Gen6 style body, the bodies are Composite from Five Star, the K&N Series is using the same bodies. Arca started using them on certain tracks last year.
