  1. I agree, dat box art yo But here is the thing, I care not about the box art and more about what's in the box, shocking, I know
  2. We( USA) do not have duties on toys, I ship monthly from Japan well over $100 worth of model kits , no duties paid. ( note, model kits fall under the toy category)
  3. I will build a second a one using the pre cut CF whenever that may be, so this is like a practice build for that one
  4. Ben, I think the body is fine, its the front assembly piece that seems to be causing some fit issues with the front bumper and front cover. No issues on the actual engine , the two piece exhaust pipes dont want to easily fit like they should, there is a bit of a gap at the joint , but if you fit it snug, then the other end wont line up like it should( on the exhaust tip side)
  5. Great photos, thank you for sharing them
  6. Nice work so far Who did the C/F decals?
  7. Progress is being made, engine finished up And the rear end assembly, not with out some issues. And doing a body panel fit test, got some areas to work on
  8. I dont think the prices are really to get lower for a good amount of time, so I would just buy one now, the current pricing in the $30's is very much worth it. To be honest, never really thought about it much, but the front and rear dont match each other, but this is a super car, so that is kind of expected .
  9. I still have a La Ferrari and FXX-K with the full C/F decal sheets to build But, I do want to build one with a full C/F sheet, this is a practice build for that , thats good, yes, I will go with that.
  10. I do, so good catch, direct from photo travel mode I dont spend much time playing it much any more, I just do the seasonal events and I am done.
  11. Good question, I have no idea, GT Sport is up next, I am not even sure at this point if that is going 7 , but I dont think so as going to be a online focused game, this should help you stay up to date with the GT series https://www.gtplanet.net/
  12. I want to point out something that you might not took into consideration The size of this bottle is 1.94oz, a can of Testors spray paint is 3oz, Tamiya is tad over 3oz's. With 3oz spray cans, most times I can get three bodies painted with one can, sometimes four, sometimes less( all depends on the kit), so breaking that down, thats about 1oz of paint per model kit. At 1.94, you are only going to be able to paint one body, maybe two, then you have to buy a new spray bottle. So you are spending roughly the same amount of money( within a few dollars) to paint less. But, if you are only using 1:1 colors, then it may be a good option. You can get a complete Air Brush system including a Air Brush for less than $100, learning how to use it, learning how to clean it is not rocket science, if you can build a model, you can learn how to use a air brush and how to clean it. I have no idea how well this system will work, but it is not something I would want to try.
  13. Right!, lucky for me I have not settled on a color yet Ive seen a few of them too and the body panels will fit, this is a kit for sure that taking a bit of time and care will go a long way towards the end result.
  14. I had a feeling there was going to be issues, and I was doing some testing fitting of the front bumper on the front assembly section and it doesn't fit with the coolers in the place, if I dont address it, the bumper will sit too far forward which will result in putting a nice gap between the bumper and bonnet cover. So I am going to be addressing that issue before I proceed any further.
  15. Ben, at this moment, I am not, I must of missed seeing the C/F decals, I was planning on building a second one and using C/F decals. I am using what I like to call faux C/F, its a graphite met paint that is very close to the same shade as C/F. ( read, I am just really lazy )
  16. Starting working on this one, and my plans, the look that I might be going for is this( still not decided) Will be using the detail ups part set, or at least most of it. And some assortment of parts being sorted for painting A taped up shot of the most of the body parts The engine and trans After some painting and some gluing of the some parts together
  17. Right, nothing wrong with it, I just dont wanna build the 007 version
  18. I agree, it can be very enjoyable to build a more simplified kit , more so after building a more detail intense kit.
  19. I am a little confused Steve, its ok for people here to call Chinese made products junk, but then people get upset over calling Squadron Putty or Testor's putty junk, nice double standard eh.
