DESERT SCALE CLASSIC 2015 - NEW LOCATION & DATE
martinfan5 replied to Danno's topic in Contests and Shows
I was not able to meet some of you , and I am not sure if I should say this, but I was the one that was in charge of the audio for the show, I was the talking head that took over for Dan doing the raffle prizes. I encountered some technical issues that prevented back ground music that was planned for the show. And those issues delayed the start of the raffle prize drawings, and thanks to Brad for lending his voice and getting it started while I sorted out the issues. -
All I can say is any skill and talent I had for building models, was not present at the time of work on this one, I am not sure where it went.
-
Yes Bill they are, the first run of the kits came with PE endplates, the Hobby Design resin kit also came with a few sets as well, I believe that is where the set I used came from.

Finally finished this one up, had to get a second decal sheet , got hit with the bad luck stick with the decals, overall, not happy with out it turned out, I feel I could of done a better job at .

Very nice pics Mike -
On the tires, there are three to four tabs(what you are seeing in the photo) on one side of them, I had not removed them yet when I did the mock up shot, but they are gone now. More work on the interior body painted, had some debris in the paint so it has been wet sand and will get another coat

I do not believe the "Dump" sells models, they are a furniture store. -

I am just curious about something, if "we" meaning this forum make up the 1% of the hobby, why would any company close up shop over 1% of the customer base that voice their concerns with said company's products, just seems really silly to me. But I dont know what I dont know. -
I posted that June of this year is the targeted release date.
