Revell Land Rover Series 3 109 inch
martinfan5 replied to GeeBee's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Yeah, mid Nov is what Tower has listed. I bought the Deutz 30 from a UK seller and paid around $9 US for shipping, just got wait for everyone to get them. I treat Revell AG kits like I do Japanese kits. -

I would of ordered one from there, but $19 to ship is a bit too much, when I can get it shipped cheaper. I too am looking forward to building it, still got the paint for it.........well, need to decided on what color first -

I can not agree that its anything close to being fun, wasting building supplies like paint/primer is not fun, having bad luck happen that will basically alter the final completed model is not fun, having to strip the same body 3 time and then another 4 times is not fun, none of that is fun to me, but of course, your mileage and mine is gonna vary on what we deem is fun. And the very definition of the hobby " an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure. " is suppose to be enjoyable, that is the sole purpose of a hobby. I am just in a very pissy mood towards the hobby , so you will have to excuse the tone of my reply Snake, its said to you with every bit of respect you deserve.

Stock and you would of had a sale, good luck to ya.

Wheels & Wings Hobbies · 49 mins · ***HOBBY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT*** There has been a lot of information and misinformation going around today with regards to the Testors company. We can only report what we have heard ourselves... Having spoken to representatives at Rust-Oleum USA and Rust-Oleum Canada as well as our sales reps at two major Canadian Hobby Distributors; they are unaware of any discontinuation of Testors products and if such an event were to happen, information would have circulated through offical channels. The only products that for certain have been discontinued by Testors are the Aztek Airbrushes, the International & Military Enamels and the Custom Lacquer System. And I want to add Testors/RPM is looking into this matter and trying to track down the person or person involved with this hoax

2020 Round2 Car Kit News & Announcements
martinfan5 replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Nothing on the list currently interests me, but I am not the target demo, but this is just the start for 2020, there is still time for them to re-issue a kit(s) I might have interest in. -
Open road camper van body
martinfan5 replied to fordf-100's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Understandable, fixing it is doable, wont be a 100% but you can get it close, its not that bad. I would love to get one, but not that badly to pay the current going rate. -
Open road camper van body
martinfan5 replied to fordf-100's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I would try and fix the body, like what has already been said, it wont be too hard, that kit is rare and expensive when one goes up for sale in very good condition, I would do everything I could to salvage the body. Or the other option is getting the panel line body and cutting out the window openings. . -
Tamiya 370 Heritage Ed kit, Nissan Ray Blue Pearl from Scalefinishes, it was one of those builds so we'll leave it that.
