  1. I like diecast because it lets me build or have subjects that most likely will never be in a plastic kit form
  2. But you are not claiming you built it, thats a big difference, If someone wants to post work they did to a diecast, fine, just dont try and pass it off as something you built, be honest, say its a diecast and that you did work on it.
  3. Agree, what kit did you use?, what aftermarket decals did you use?
  4. You know, I did not look at that way, but good point
  5. Really, those were both there, how in the world did I miss those
  6. I know the firestone ford was on there, and the 84 gmc was, well heck all them I am sure have been on ebay lol
  7. Well thats a great fathers day gift, I need a bigger bench before I even think about getting this kit. But sadly the prices have jumped up on this kit, so I will be waiting like you said, for a bargain to come along
  8. So the chat feature is not apart of the forum?
  9. Very true, but I dont think the model company's are forcing anything down anyones throats
  10. Marty, I know a few of those were on ebay, and those same few I was thinking about bidding on, now stop buying ,and get to building , did you do anything for this months theme?
  11. That is a good idea, some nice builds in there
  12. You did a great job, I love it, how did you do the rear plate?, I made custom UK plates for mine, but its not in the shape like yours is
  13. Dave, its not worth it, all they see is ugly and not the fact that it has a 500 BHP engine it, can do 0-60 in a few seconds, that its just something different, but yet they all say today's cars are boring right?. All its going to do is make you want to
  14. Its not about the looks, its whats under the hood thats important here, yes its ugly, but its fast, very fast
  15. I agree , using the mesh grill is a great idea, this kit is on my list to get, but I am not sure when though, its going to be hard to spend the money, I am a cheapskate
  16. Thats better then the Brabus SUV, and the price is not too bad, whats the power on it ? well the wheels not so much
  17. I would still take the Juke GTR over that, now I think that is ugly, I know, I have problems
  18. Looking killer there G, cant wait to see it finished I will post an update soon, just need to take a pic Here is the pic I took a few peoples advice and got me some Tamyia masking tape, now that I know Hobby Lobby sells it, I will be using it more from now on, so up next is getting the blue down, then the red. But it was the blue that messed things up the first time, so here we go again
  19. Yea thats my problem too, I dont know why though, anytime I voice my opinion about something, I get flamed by Pat and Johnny , them F430 has been clear coated, but I have no choice to wet sand and polish it
  20. I know its not my kit, and I have no say in how you build it, but I vote box stock build
  21. I am going to be watching the first WIP for this, cant wait to see this built
  22. If a person has that kind of money, I dont think they care about looks, or really anything other then buying what they like.
  23. Yes I do, I agree, that is a lot of money, I could buy a lot of very nice cars with money left over, I like the concept of what did.
  24. I dont have to click on the link to know its the Juke GTR, what a great car, I would buy one , I love it
