  1. This build idea came to me while watching an episode of TopGear US, I would rather do this with cars from the TG UK, but not all the cars are in kit form, any ways, the episode , they were driving and comparing the 2011/12 Ford Mustang/Camaro/Challenger. One of the challenges they had to do was have a drag race with the orignal versions of the cars. Which were the 1970 Challenger and Boss 302 Mustang, and the 1969 Camaro, I believe its the SS. I am not going to for 100% correctness , just close as I can. Here is a pic of the cars Here are the kits I was not going to do a WIP for this at first but changed my mind, so I had already started working on the camaro kit, so its close to being done, here are some pics, I saved myself a lot of time, and all the interiors have all been sprayed a flat black.
  2. I agree, nice looking R33, I will get some pics up on the Aston later tonight, getting the body painted right now. Here is the body with with a few light coats, my sanding of the mold lines did not do a great job, still have a few areas that I need work on, I did not notice it tell after I got the paint down
  3. I dont spend that much time of Face Book period, I really can not see it taking away from the forums
  4. Is it me, or does that not look right? You know the mods too to change it into a four door may not be hard, but finding one of kits can be
  5. You didnt hear did you?, the state of California passed a law saying that everything is the states fault and should be blamed for everything
  6. As long as its well ventilated, the problems, or danger come from being in a closed area, as long as you have fresh air coming in the area, you will be ok, that does not mean you should not take precautions
  7. Hobby paints can be just as dangerous as well
  8. Any air born chemical that is sprayed can and will cause a health problem, just not limited to paint.
  9. Nice looking RX7, what blue did you use
  10. Are you going to spend close to $1,700 on that system?, I do agree there is a lot of waste

  13. Ok now, I said models , not real trucks, now lets see the models , Very nice trucks Tim
  14. Dave, I would love to find the Z kit *insert drooling smiley here * The best to do with MPC kits, is not to have high expectations with them, they can and do build up to be a very nice finished model, just some extra work might be needed to get that though
  15. I think I might decided on the color, I will know after I do some test sprays on a spare body, I thinking of trying the one coat lacquer graphite dust
  16. And remember the price of this product is going to change for us here in the USA, depending on the rates . Like today its a little cheaper at $1,159

  20. I dont think any likes going to the post office. I can remember which one it is HLJ or Hobby search, but it does not give a total when you place a order, always stops me from placing my order
  21. Yes that cool, but not for the $1,163 it cost for the system . The price for the chrome kit is 729.17 pounds.
  22. Thanks, I keep hearing that both Hobby Lobby and Michaels have clearance sections, but I can never find them
  23. You can use future as a barrier to help prevent any damage to the plastic, I have done that a few times, apply future, then once it cures, then primer.
  24. Whats a little more? I only buy non US kits from Japan or China, prices are better, and even with shipping, the kits still come under or just about what they sell for here
