  1. Thats the first thing I do too, even if I am going to start it now or later, put the chrome parts in bleach
  2. Haha, the same color I paint my R34/R35, it really looks good on them huh?
  3. Still, not a bad looking Cuda Nick, you did a good job, I really like it with the steelies on it.
  4. Any drug store, I get mine at walmart
  5. I know it may be a bit to early for this question, but will the cost be the same as the paper version?, or will it less, or how does that all work?
  6. You need to use 97% alcohol, that should remove the duplicolor
  7. HAha, thats the look I was going for, I just think the new camaros, look good in yellow
  8. My first one as well, these is the same as the AMT version, and its a all snapper kit, not a bad kit, but I am happy I only spent $10 on it at the swap meet versus more on ebay
  9. For the most part I am done using Krylon to paint bodys.

    Ford GT

Here is Johnny Lighting's Ford GT kit, this was a OOB, and my very first A/B painted body, I did not fix the errors or anything, all I did was clear coat it. This was just a quick build for me, I just wanted to get a kit done, did this one in about three days.
  11. Thank you Rob, I was trying not to show all my mess ups
  12. Here is Revells Camaro kit, and this is not my best build, I should post then the my worst builds threads as well. It all started with trying to use to Krylon paint, that should say it all right there, but in my excuses I really like the shade of yellow It was OOB, I remove the chrome from the wheels, and used a matte aluminum on them So after a half of dozen times to the purple pond and then using model master lacquer, here it is. I was just in hurry to get it finished, I got tired of staring at the chassis sitting on the bench .
  13. Dave, love the R34, what blue are using?, it looks like one of the one coats This on the bench now, decided I want to get the DBS started , working on getting the mold lines removed, almost there Also working the JL GTO kit, these was my second body painted using an A/B, ran out of paint And eleanor, the black stripes did not come out very good, even using 3M tape and clear coated the tape edges. And working on this Phoenix PD ford
  14. I have started now, even if I dont plan on starting the model for awhile, I am now getting the bodys primered and ready for paint, I have primed three so far.
  15. Since my car has not come back from the shop, I may have to start driving these, but to be honest, I would rather drive these then my other half Beetle, I can not stand that car, nor driving it , uggggggggggg!!
  16. Started working on the DBS, getting the mold lines removed, still have some work left
  17. Couldn't said it better myself, I like to say I am like kid getting a new toy, ok for the most part with most kits
  18. Thats a lot of TP too , Gregg, your are able to read all those every month? I get , are ready for this, hang now, its going to blow you away as to how many magazine's a month I get, ready 0
  19. I have no idea what I am going to work on today, need to be out practicing with my air brush.
  20. Very nice paint job
  21. Mike, I feel your pain, or I should say tiredness, my 7 month old has been zapping all my energy the last few weeks, so when I do have the time, I am just to darn tired to get my self motivated to do a lot. I am not surprised that the kit is toy like, heck that could be said for a lot of revells glue kits to, I have not had a chance to look at one out the box, so I did not know that the body was thicker.
  22. Thats profiling, and profiling is wrong( saying that in a Ron White voice)
  23. I did by two of the new camaro kits, but I did that on purpose, one stock, one custom
  24. You should go the community build section and check out the 2005-2010 mustang CBP I have going
