  1. Not a fan, DeeJay, not saying that my music knowledge is vast
  2. Hey least i didnt say you had to listen to the hard core version
  3. Yep you guessed, wet look, well I started with it, but ran out so had to use MM ultra clear lacquer , so its both really
  4. Haha, yea rollin in my 5.0, go for it!, but you have to listen to the song why you build it
  5. Another coat, and more debris, but its shiny, no clear coat yet
  6. I have seen those trans kits, I like the wheels that they have, me drooling now Here is the Aston clear coated And with the flash off
  7. Now I have to remember the movie, I know it, just cant think of it at the moment
  8. Well I cant blame you for wanting to save the 5.0, I hate low riders too, although they do tend to have some very cool paint jobs , what movie car are you building ?
  9. I think I know what builds I may want to enter, well four so far, now I just need to find that entry sheet
  10. Mike, you did a great job, very nice. So what are you going to work on next?
  11. I do one day want to use trans kits, just it takes a big bite out of the hobby fund, I would love to do what you are with the GTR and use a trans kits, I have found a few that I really like. I like the stock wheels on the GTR, but if you are using a trans kit, it would be better with different wheels, and the wheels and tires that come with kit are to big. I dont think the GTR trans kits are going to go away for awhile, but I could be wrong I clear coated the Aston, but I need to hit a few areas again, so I will post pics after I do that.
  12. I third using bleach, it takes less then an hour to remove it, well it depends on the chrome plating
  13. I was having problems falling asleep, I guess if I stop thinking about models that might help Getting the Camaro painted, I started to apply the mist coats from the can, then said to myself, use your A/B dummy, so I decanted the paint, and did the rest from the A/B, it needs a few coats, some areas not smooth and have some debris in spots. But I am getting better at using the A/B Paint is Testors one coat lacquer star spangled blue
  14. Very nice. good job
  15. The P/E parts are good, I am just not a fan of using them, I only use some of them. There are lot trans kits for the GTR, and I thought I about getting one, but they all cost more then the kit does. If you do get a P/E set, make sure its for Tamiya Here is the body with a few more coats of paint, the body has not been clear coated yet
  16. I would love do cars for the UK version, I am going to have to look at the shows and then see what cars are in kit form. While I was trying to fall asleep last night, I was thinking of how I could do a diorama with the cars
  17. What GTR kit did you get?
  18. If they dont make to Desert Scale, I will bring them to the club meeting
  19. They go one great, I can not screw up paint jobs when I use Model Master lacquers or the one coats, I would try them out. Now on the other hand, you give me a can of enamel , I will give you a paint bomb. But I am getting good results using enamels with the air brush thinned with lacquer thinner.
  20. That is Testor's one coat lacquer Graphite dust, I normally dont use them. Here is the chassis all finshed
  21. All I can say is I am going to be screwed here soon as my baby gets older
  22. I think I am on four different model forums, and the activity was slow on them, and now some are what seems to be like a ghost town lately, I really think that its the season's changing that has as slowed things down on here ,and the other forums. As for FB, I dont really care to play all the games that are on there, so other then that, that does not leave much to do other then read what everyone is posting. I check in about I would say once a day.
  23. I can agree to that, Mrs. G is a very nice Lady, yes she is a keeper G
