  1. IMHO 3 weeks is too long to not have a reply from Kris. I have ordered from him several times and have always been completely satisfied with the parts and the shipping time. I suggest you get in touch with him just to make sure your order didn't fall through the cracks somehow.
  2. Not a motorcycle person, but I am enjoying the build. Liked the 4 cylinder Honduhs of this vintage. A couple of friends sold a CB400F back and forth a few times and I thought I might want to buy it in uh 1981 or so. Rode it a few times and loved it. I think that it planted the seed for my love of small displacement engines that could rev.
  3. Groan. I can already see that your retirement is going to cost me money.
  4. I have an AMT Nova and an AMT GMC stepside that I built in the 1980s. They are both Testors clear enamel over Testors silver. They both appear light green now. Agree with the TS-13. I don't have enough experience with the Testors lacquer to have an opinion yet.
  5. I ASSume that the distributor rotation is clockwise, but I didn't find that info. edit: Bill beat me and found the image I was looking for!
  6. Took about 4 months to get the S10 extended cab from Perry's Resin. Was going to order some parts from Reliable, but when I asked him if they were in stock or cast to order, he beat around the bush. That was my signal to not order anything. Most of my experiences have been pleasant!
  7. Got some stuff listed on e-Bay that I have been meaning to list for a while. Made a trip to Barnes and Noble.
  8. Easy. A Ranger will fit in my garage. An F-150 won't if I want another car in there with it.
  9. That might be the easiest way for you. Pay a millennial to do it for you. I shot a photo of my neighbor's rear plate straight on. I made a copy, and used Paint to fill in the registration stickers on the copy. I then used Snipping tool in Windoze to cut the plate images from the larger photo and pasted them into Word. As Kurt said, US, Canadian, and Mexican plates should be right about 1/2 inch wide, and Word has a built-in ruler. I then printed them on photo paper. I have a pretty nice Canon printer / scanner at work. Better than the HP I have at home.
  10. Not sure if the cars and planes are the same, but I see a plane on eBay that says it was packaged in the US, decals from Mexico, plastic parts made in Korea.
  11. Wonder if he ate a poisoned mouse or rat? My condolences to your family.
  12. They are pretty much identical. The kit version I have has the snorkled air cleaner from the Bullit kit and the scoop, hood stripe, and ram-air air cleaner to allow you to build a 68 1/2 Cobra Jet.
  13. The Revell "Build and Play" kits like the Mustangs, Raptor, and Ford GT are simple enough that a child can assemble them, but respond well to a little paint and detailing if one of us old folks wants a slump-buster.
  14. Not a fan of the optional D96 stripes for 1968 anyway. Car looks great without them!
  15. I have made my own random underhood decals using images from the internet of the 1:1 decal.
