  8. Hate to hear that Seth. Your not having good luck with this build...
  9. I hate you had to strip it but you think using a spray can after the compressor you could have saved it? just curious..
  10. The wide whites are a nice touch Walter, engine and chassis look really nice also. The best flat I like is krylon short cuts. its almost a semi gloss or satin. if you dulcote flat black it take the handling better when built. You have a nice build...
  11. Great build Joshua, real nice color and finish. I don't think the hoods needs any adjustment, it would be easy to make it worse. Looking forward to your next one..
  12. Looks really good, any more pictures??

  14. I broke the back half of a tail gate the other night and it was painted ah cleared. You still have the model. You could fix the hood, build another or pick one up on ebay. You still have the project going hang in there.
  15. I had a 77 dodge long wheel base truck I bought in 86 with two tone green paint. it had 70 thousand miles and a 318 auto and air. it had all the chrome so I worked a full time job and did odd jobs got it painted, new wheels and tires. I also had a ne cloth seat and carpet put in it. Traded it off for a almost new small pick up and I have never got over it. I had it as nice as any truck on the road and it had never rusted or been used to haul anything. I think all of us guys have regretted getting rid of at least one special car or truck in our lifetime.

  17. Another Super sharp looking model John.....
  18. Real nice build...
  19. When it rains or wet the humidity is in the 90 percent range. I have seen enamel bead up a G said and it will also bubble. I have seen enamel haze over also when it dries..
