  13. On Friday we had a fire started by a candle in my Daughter's room that she left unattended while she brought her original Handicapped Cabbage Patch Kid. When she returned to her room it was on fire. The fire destroyed her room, and smoke got all through the house, and the Fire Department sprayed water all through out the the house. Friday night we wen,t to a motel to stay until we can find a place to live until the house is repaired, then on Saturday the fire flared up again doing more damage. When our son went the house on Sunday to see if he could get my medications and my dogs Heart Worm Pills, he said the windows had broken out and the ceilings had fallen. Then we were hit by the Tropical storm, bringing winds of as high as 70 miles per hour, and golf ball size hail in our neighbor hood, I haven't been able to go to the house so I'm worried about how much damage has been done. I hope the hail didn't damage my van as it is my only way of getting around. I hope the other members of the forum, that live in this area are all safe!
  14. Very nice colour combo! You might think about adding a thin white pin strip along the dividing line between the two colours, as an accent.

  22. I have used Monocote on Flying Model Aircraft for over 40 years. It's Adhesive is heat activated using a special hot iron. My hot iron was made by TopFlite and is atleast 43 years old, the heating head is covered with Tethlon, and I have onlt had to replace it twice over the years. You cut the Monocote to the shape you want it to be. Then you apply it using the hot iron. You can the remove any loose or wrinkled areas using a hot heat gun to shrink the monocote. to get rid of trape air, you just puncher the Monocote with a small straight pin, and theh use your heat gun to shrink the Monocote pushing the air out . You must us care when working with Mono as you can get baddly burned if you don't. Hot irons can warp plastic or melt it, so it's use would be very limited.
  23. I save all my water bottle caps. They are also great for puting glue in, mixing epoxy, and small amounts of Glazing, or filling small imperfections!
