  1. I think this is Race Motor Replicas. They're listed in the Aftermarket Directory on this forum.
  2. What did you use on the floor? It looks like marble. One tip.Use the kits original front axle.It will make the front end set higher "more gasser correct" and it has working steering. The instruction sheet probably doesn't even show it.They added that dropped front axle to make it look like a street car.
  3. How about the 427s in the Revell 64 Thunderbolt and the AMT 66 Fairlane. The 66 Fairlane GT/GTA has the 390 with the choice of auto or 4-speed transmissions.
  4. If you look at both sets of heads in the 25 T.Neither set of heads matches the head in your third photo. Both sets of heads have the same exhaust port/spark plug arrangement.Exhaust port/plug,exhaust port/plug,exhaust port/plug,exhaust port/plug. The head in your third photo shows exhaust port/plug,exhaust port/plug,plug/exhaust port,plug/exhaust port. And the ports are angled towards the center of the head. Both sets of heads in the 25 T have straight exhaust ports. I think AMT added the second set of heads for the six-carb intake and the better supercharger intake.
  5. My kit has two Racemaster slicks.
  6. Doesn't the Revell 55 Chevy have the Z-11 motor?
  7. I think Ed was wrong wnen he said AMT put the Ford motor in the Silhouette. Bill Cushenberry put the Ford motor in the Silhouette when it was included in the Ford Custom Car Caravan. Check out www.cartechbooks.com
  8. I'm sorry but,the Silhouette doesn't have a 427 SOHC motor.
  9. AMT's 1966 Galaxie has the S.O.H.C 427. It also has the cold air ducts like Revell's 1964 Thunderbolt.
  10. I think this is the Otaki 1/16 scale Alfa Romeo Coupe 33. There's one on eBay right now.
  11. What years were these Blue Streak Goodyear tires produced? I've seen photos of cars from 1965 using these tires. One of them was Dick Landy's 1965 Dodge. What years were the second and third sets M&H slicks produced? They look modern to me.
  12. Here's a great idea for a pacer.
  13. You don't need an egg coloring kit.Just use Testors spray enamel paints.
  14. There's one more. Alexander's Drag Time.I think all AMT did was add the parts pack hemi and a pair of slicks and mag wheels to the kit, I have the original issue and the topless pickup. They both have deep dish chrome steel wheels and Halibrand mags.
  15. I like that you're adding front doors. Did you scratch build them?
  16. These tires which are 6.40 x 15 can also be found in the Beatnik Bandit. Combine them with the tires from Revell's Ed Roth 1956 Ford Pickup which are 8.20 x 15 for a nice big and little tire set.
  17. The red car can't be a z16.It has the SS emblems on the quarter panel I think the black car doesn't have black on the trim pieces because it's a black car.
  18. It needs some nose art, maybe a pin-up girl on the front fender. What might look cool too is a bright red hood. What I think would look cool is a checker board hood. Another suggestion.Black and white stripes on the roof.
  19. I think there was a kit to convert a 240Z to a 63 Ferrari GTO.
  20. I think this would make a nice sports car. Has anyone tried to use AMT's Cobra frame? The Cobra body is 6"x21/2". Also,I think the racing windshield from AMT's 62 Corvette would look good on this body.
  21. The original kit had a second axle that mounted on top of the spare tire.
  22. 1953 Buick Roadmaster Riviera 1956 Oldsmobile 98 1957 Pontiac Star Chief
  23. Just a FYI.Only the first three fender vents were open.I used to own a real 68 Corvette.
  24. I know I would buy a case just for the Buick motor!
  25. Whatever happened to the old Renwal Revival kits? The modern versions of classic cars.
